question How to increase view on GoDaddy auctions?

I have a domain (FameRoute.com) listed in GoDaddy 7-day auction now. How to increase the view on that?
Any suggestion ?

I think OP and others would prefer methods which don't involve a fee.

The only method I have is to share auction links on Twitter with appropriate #Hashtags. It can make at least a small difference.

Definitely agree with @Haris100 sharing it on Twitter with the appropriate hashtags always gets you some new views on your auction listings. If you're active enough on Twitter you can even get some RT's and really start seeing the traffic pour in.

I would also add sharing it on domain Facebook groups and other domain forums as well. Make sure to also add your domains on auction to your signatures and to consistently participate in these continuities so that you give your sig more exposure. As long as your contributing quality information then the more likely it will be that more people click on your links.

So keep learning more about domains so that you can share your knowledge with others and get more action to your auctions at the same time.

woahh. Just noticed that only 6 tweets an hour ago of the same auction's link with around 50 hashtags lead to increase in views from 25 to 90 !!

P.S. The domain is too crappy, I think the views would be much more if it was a good domain.

You can do a couple things. I like the idea of twitter since that is free and you can post in NamePros like Eric suggested. The bloggers people mentioned are also good resources but I would make sure you have a really good domain name that would interest buyers before contacting them and as the best bet in getting more views. GoDaddy offers a premium upgrade for 19.99 which will cycle your domain name through our auctions front page. Those are all the best ideas in my mind. I would also focus on buying names that will interest a broad market so that you will have more potential buyers.
Now... if you really want to splurge on getting some auction attention, and I wouldn't recommend this for every name, including this one You could always hire the guy below and put him out on say the Hollywood walk of fame.
Good luck with the sale and check out some of the valuation threads on this site to get an idea of what kind of names have a broad appeal and would attract more buyers.

You just did lol.... Create awareness on forums and other social platforms to bring attention to your auction(s). At least that's what I do (as well as others) and it works. I use social media and forums to my advantage, therefore I gain maximum exposure to my auction(s).

Does anyone here ever list their domains on ebay when they're trying to sell? I was trying to list my domain on Google Adwords but they disapproved my ad obviously because they don't want to send traffic to a godaddy auction lol.

we have looked at removing the categories altogether and probably will at some point in the future. Things have changed a lot since the categories were originally added and almost anyone search for a domain does not use the categories as a search field. It is easier/faster to choose -other because you dont have to spend extra time trying to find a category for each name.

For instance people will search by keyword or tld or price but not category.

GD is not known for listening!! I have been saying for a long time the categories don't work with all the new technology. I will re-list them under other...thanks! The direct link really helps.
NOW get me a promo so I can join the domain club. $100 is tough at one time. I am a small domainer (flipper) and that is the money I use for buying domains.
