How to get a page indexed

I have quite a few external links pointing at my website but some of them are on pages which have not been indexed by Google. Therefore I am not getting much benefit from these links. Any ideas for how to get these pages indexed quickly? I was thinking of posting links to these pages here and there around the web, but not sure what sites would be best. Grateful for any advice. Thanks.

I will suggest to not build backlinks for pages that have links to your site

Instead, you should just concentrating on getting links for your own site. You should try to get links from pages that have some good PR.

I have plenty of links, I've just ended up with a few that are on non-indexed pages. If there's an easy, non-time consuming way to get these pages indexed then I think it is worth doing. Anyone have any ideas?

submit these page to some famous bookmark sites and write any articles which include those links.

Don't worry about it to much. When you are building links it is best to just grab the links you can and just move on. Those links will get picked up sooner or later so just keep building, before you know it you will have a ton of links and your site will be ranking pretty well.

Just post few links on high traffic websites, forums or blogs. In few hours (if you are lucky) you should have your website indexed.

For example, put a link at this forum in your signature to your website.

When I want a page to be indexed by Google I simply run it through Google Analytics. This basically forces Google to find it and index it...

use directories, blogs, forum sig, social bookmarks they are all totally free and they prolly indexed by google. one advice Dont chase links for PR. bcoz customers dont look for your PR they come to your site from Search Engines. So try to rank for a keyword. PR dont have a value , not any more.

You can do either of the following to help you get index:

1. Search Engine Submission
2. Build Links - back links helps your site get index. If you want your sub-pages get index, then deep linking helps.
3. Ping your site
4. Create a sitemap - it helps your sub-pages get index.

What some people are missing is the problem (very common). The guy has some links from OTHER websites pointing to his site. These links are not indexed by Google so he's receiving no benefit for the backlinks. He wants these links that point to his site to get indexed.

Check to see if all the links on these sites ever get indexed. If not you could add the address to some forum sigs for a few weeks. That might help.

Give you an idea. If you have a blog, blog something related to the page that contains link to your site with a link pointing to the page. Ping the blog once it's published.
