I have registered several hundred .mobis and would like to get a site up and running. Where is the best place to go for help with development? How much would it cost to get a site going?
Initially I bought mobis to sit on and sell later but I feel it is important to put content out there for the mobile user. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Great to hear it. It is really important to have our mobi sites actually have content. Which one are you looking to develop?

I should cost you less than $10 a month for hosting. You can build the sites yourself, it really is not that hard. If you can log on to a forum and post, which obviously you can, you have the technical ability to make a simple website :)

Just make sure the host you choose, supports multiple domain names. That way you can have all your .mobis on the same account, for one monthly hosting fee!

For hosting, try hostmonster.com, they charge $4.95/mo for hosting unlimited domain names, Here is what they say:

"
200 Gigabytes of Hosting Space
Host UNLIMITED Domains!!
Unlimited Pop/Imap Email Accounts
SSH Access (Secure Shell)
2,000 Gigs of Transfer
SSL, FTP, Stats
CGI, Ruby (RoR), Perl, PHP, MYSQL
Front Page Extensions
Free Domain Forever
Free Site Builder
Best Support in the Industry "

I am very happy with them. The only thing I don't like is they don't support ASP. You have to find another hosting company if you have ASP web site. If you only use PHP/MYsql, they are the best, imho.

I am glad you decided to develope rather then just park your domains. It does not cost much actaully, as others pointed out. While you are devloping, you can also use my tools at magic.dir.mobi to generate pages with RSS to start with before you have fully developed site.

Hostgator is good for that

I'm in the same situation, couple of hundred .mobi's and would like to develop some.
Has anyone here used mobisitegalore or zinadoo?

Which is better?

It doesn't cost much in terms of $$$. You can find a good host for about ~$10 a month, check out webhostingtalk.com for hosting reviews. In terms of time, it might cost you a bit of time to learn the proper coding standards for a .mobi site -or- you could just use ready made templates.
