Just interested to see how much people made after there first year in the business, so i know if i am any good!

I think the first year would be the worst for people as you need to learn new things in order to spot good names and bargains.

Thanks

Doubt too many people would be willing to divulge that info. :)

basically the first year is the worst you will have. looking back at some of the names i regged, i was wondering what i was on!

Have patience and you will get a good offer if you develop properly

Good luck!

I've made 600$ in 24 days. Still haven't gotten the hang of parking though :P

I first got into the domain reselling business February 16 of this year. So within less than 3 months you can say that I have $xx,xxx in net profit and still have great domains left over. :)

I hate showing off really, so I won't give any specifics.

Now notice this is the figure that I came out with. Obviously you can make $20,000 in parking, but how much did you spend on these domains? You have to calculate that. I think the thread starter wants to know the net gain.

I totally agree...
but, i have to say its not all financial investments.
Also look at the time you put into it and the work.
(finding the right parking program for each domain)

I dont think its showing off, as i am not really that happy with last year
income... I think I am still learning a lot about the business and hope to
increase income and the net worth of my portfolio.

Made enough my first year to cover my entire cardboard box with a little housewrap! Even had the extra cash to buy a full length body pillow to use as a makeshift lil' sleeping pad.

My goal for the fall of '06... to get a little space heater, the winters here beneath the bridge can be pretty rough.

If there are any other domainers out there beneath other, possibly warmer, bridges... give me a holler... perhaps we can share a box and make life a little more interesting. :snaphappy:

I wanna know how many names you have and what you paid to make these thousands I'm seeing???

If you have 1000 names and make 1000/yr that's not too impressive. See what I'm saying..
