How many one word generic domains are “premium”?

Of all the one word english generic domains how many or what percentage can be considered “premium”? By premium I mean domains that have the most value for domainers. There are many lists out there that list the top 10.000 words in different languages, for example. But are there lists or statistics that are more relevant for domainers. I know this is not an easy question, because the value of a domain is in the eyes of potential buyers.

About the only way to test this is to do a random sampling of dictionary words. Maybe 1,000 of them. That's probably doable by one person.
