Hello!

First, thanks to everyone who posts here - this place is a magnificent treasure-trove for a beginner.

I couldn't find this via the search feature so maybe someone can help me understand.

If a domain doesn't sell at a dropcatch.com (-type) auction - how long does it take to become available at the different registrars?

Each extension may have different drop schedule.
com domains usually become available on 82nd day after expiration date but the "82" may change slightly such as +- 2 days.

You may write a simple code on excel or similar office programs in order to calculate +81, +82, and +83 day from today or any other date.

For Libreoffice calc (an open source office program) copy paste this on a cell on a spreadsheet. The code below should likely work on excel as well, I haven't tried on windows.

Code:
=TODAY()+82

It will display 82nd day after today. You can change the "82" variable for other TLD's.
