My first domain sale came from listing on sedo, after an offer and counter offer the deal was done. Very easy, but sedo's comission hurt a bit.

My first domain sales was a big one - via Ebay believe it or not. I had managed to get my finger tips on a very nice LLL.com (for about $100) and sold it for just under 20k on ebay. Those were the days.

Years ago bought a domain off a dropping list that fully dropped and was available. A few days later regretted the purchase and then a few days after that received an offer for $500 via email.

I backordered a domain (via SnapNames) in a genre I felt very comfortable with (Judaism), one I knew how to pitch. I contacted a prominent Jewish culture magazine about it and they responded with interest. I've made 35 other end-user sales since but to date, that first one remains my highest-dollar flip, netting $1400.

I've only sold one domain and that was on eBay and didn't get alot for it but I've been learning since then and am ready to get into the business a bit more.

Thanks
Steve

My first domain sale was through a broker. I had a typo domain and a broker helped me to sell it after taking a little commission.
