Are you seeing black or red?

Is 2009 your best year yet?

Did you make more at 'domaining' than at your day job?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Best,

DJ

It's only my second year but yes it was my best. I don't flip domains I invest in them so I guess by your metric I would be in the red, though by mine I am very much in the black - with a much improved portfolio and solid parking revenue coming in every month. Since I did not show a net profit for the year domaining I would hope I made more from my 'day job' ;)

All green in 2009! I sold most of my names in the beginning of the year through NamePros, then listed the rest on Sedo and walked away from everything. Sold two names for $xxxx. Everything went better than expected. :)

Not to bring religion into this however, I do feel very blessed.

Yes I am in the black.

Yes 2009 has been my very best year (I started in 2004).

My best year also only because I started selling some names instead of just parking

I'm in the mid range also with my best year yet by far..... and I turned low $xxxx for a name yesterday and have a mid $xxx offer on another one today. Sliding right into 2010! B-)

Easy best year

Easily my best year switched from ppc to cpa and the payoff has been huge from $xxxx to $xxxxxx

Not a great year in terms of ROI...

...But, HUGELY upgraded the quality of my portfolio.

The foundations of my fortune laid in 2009...?

That's pretty much how I feel, I'm happy with what I have bought this year - I'v spent a bit more in the drops and have renewed some of my better names until 2012

I'm still a bit wary about what 2010 will bring but whatever happens at least I'll still have some names reg'd till 2012 :tu:

I plan to concentrate more of my efforts on developing names next year rather than buying alot more.

Dropped over a 100 domains. I focused on my developed sites. Made very few end-user sales. In the end I actually made more money this year than previous year mainly off my largest 2 websites.
