.HOMES re-released

[Name Trader]

I received in a Uni Newsletter that .HOMES has been released without restrictions. Did anyone else see that and try to register any domains. It was tough going. Most were already taken or very premium prices from the registry. I did manage to get OFFSHORE and LAKESIDE for discounted reg fee

Whilst I was searching. I found RETAIL.DOMAINS available, so took that too

All it takes is a good end user to put the .homes to work with a good SEo and watch how they will blast through the Google rankings IMO

As I told you via DM what you are saying is simply not true. You can believe what you want, but there is simply no objective data to back up what you are asserting.

Search engines like Google know how to parse keywords from domains be that a .COM or another extension. There is zero reason that .homes should rank any better than .COM or another extension.

So I type in this exact word Home realestate in google . On page one the top is www.homerealestate.com

But if I go to page 2 on google guess who is the top page www.home.realestate

So out of the 2,270,000,000 www.home.realestate shows up on page 2 Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Remember what I said securing the .com and the .homes or .realestate can be very powerful tools for a end user.

Is that enough data case closed

First of all what is the term "home realestate"? Some grammatically incorrect term that no one searches.

Also, any objective data needs a large enough sample size. I can just type in any random term and I bet .COM dominates in the results.

You are making the assertion that .homes is going to rank better than homes.com, so you are going to have to bring more to the table than just your belief and (1) random example that makes little sense.

Unfortunately, that city just like every other top GEO is reserved by the registry.

If it was a standard registration all the top cities are clearly worth owning.

I can see value in top cities followed by .homes, or top words followed by homes, but the registry has already reserved those. I am not interested in picking up the scraps.

Also, like I said before there are 130M+ .COM taken.
Show me even one great (Word)Homes.com that is sitting there available to hand register...

I searched for "San Antonio Homes" and I don't see SanAntonio.Homes ranked on the first (5) pages of my results when I am logged in, before I gave up. I logged out and still do not see it.

Also, there is a reason a parked page is not ranked highly. It is not a developed site which Google can clearly tell.
