It's interesting that you own golfestate.homes because I own golfclub.homes and the registry, Dominion Domains, has held golfcourse.homes back as a "Premium" domain and is asking $1,099.99 for it at GD/Afternic.
Of the three I like Golfcourse.homes the best and I do believe a builder or realtor (end user) would buy that before the other two. It's also interesting that GD values Golfcourse.homes at $930 and Golfclub.homes at $828.
Finally, Dominion
.domains who are aka DominionDomains(.)com (i personally gifted/gave that name to them 60 days ago) is the perfect example of what Verisign refers to as "Hoarders and Scalpers" Not only did they try and stiff me for $64,000 for the domain HomeSweet
.Homes when they learned I might be interested, their three tiered standard
Premium pricing where they ask $1099.99 for their least expensive domain, $2749.99 for their mid level
Premium domain, and $5,499.99 for their highest standard
Premium domain, is pricing you can see on Go Daddy.
It's interesting that I hand registered and own Sunset
.homes that GD values at $1,249, and Dominion.domains still owns Sunrise.homes that GD values at $1,189, and guess what Dominion is asking for it? They're asking $5,499.99 via Go Daddy, and I'm sure if they heard I might be interested they would probably take it off sale, and try to sell it to me for $64,000
The ironic thing here is that Dominion.domains sold me Sunset
.homes for $10, and now that we're competitors trying to sell similar names, I've no doubt I'll smoke them in the marketplace
If you go back to a post in this thread (pg 18) by onspec aka Scott Smith of Canada, you'll read where he says in order for
.homes to be a successful nTLD, the full and complete cooperation of all parties concerned needs to happen. Initially i sought out Dominion.domains to work with, but since they've show their true colors, there's no way I can work with hoarders and scalpers...i guess I'm just a tad too ethical.
That's all for now folks....enjoy your summer
