One of the trends (IMO) that has emerged during the last couple of years is the usage of .IO domain names. I’ve seen quite a few startups using domain names with the .IO extension, and it seems that the values of these domain names are increasing. I do not own any .IO domain names and don’t closely follow the market, so this is just an unsupported observation.

I think it's probably their silly attempt to appear "hip" and down with the younger generation.. trying to appeal to the younger voters perhaps....lol.

Looks like they're trying to distance themselves from their last names? Rather than the traditional [LastName + LastName] campaign pin, they're going for FirstName + FirstName

HillaryTim.com was regged on May 2015 and is currently registered to a law firm in Dallas, Texas.
Similar Domains Owned: HillarySherrod.com

HillaryAndTim.com was regged in April of 2016 to a man from New York.
Similar domains owned: HillaryAndAl.com - HillaryAndThomas.com - HillaryAndSherrod.com

Maybe, they'll fork up more for Hillary.com which is on Flippa now ... Surely, this domain is a much better investment than ClintonKaine.com. In terms of holding value IMHO

I was wondering about that too. What a targeted market that could capture - probably worth the $2500 if the buyer is selling to that market. Also says either she will not run in 2020 or she will likely not use a .IO domain next time around.

Needless to say, very interesting sale.

NameBio shows the name sold for $2,500 on November 22nd, 2018...

However, the Flippa listing that ended 46 days ago on November 22nd says auction ended unsold, then relisted.

The new Flippa listing ended 10 days ago (unsold)...

Which leads me to believe the domain dropped, and was regged (or maybe caught somewhere) by somebody most likely not affiliated with the HRC campaign.
