.mobi Helio Ocean, seems like a problem for some of my regs.!!

I seen a commercial for the new Helio Ocean the other day. The phone is sweet I have to say. It has a full qwerty keyboard on one side, and the number pad on the other. To me this presents a problem for names like my as4.mobi. I dont see people flipping back and forth just to access a website. I hope this does not become the trend. What do you guys think about this?

There really isnt any trend with keypads when it comes to phones. some will always just have the standard numbers only, some will have full qwerty keypads with the letters and numbers together, some will be like the helio ocean, some will have keypads like the blackberry pearl, and i am sure there will be other types of keys they come out with also. voice will probably be standard one day too. i dont have very many domains that mix numbers and letters anyway though. The Helio Ocean actually has numbers on both sides so you dont have to worry.

It would be very odd to not have numbers on the keyboard side.

I did'nt know it had numbers on both sides. And you are right, there are so many different styles of phones these days. It is mind boggling how many new phones are introduced each year. I dont have many combos either but it would be ashamed if the few I had were worthless because of phone design. Thanks for the clarification.

I agree..so many new phones coming like.. Nokia's N95, 6500 Classic, 3109 Classic & 8600, Luna, Apple's iPhone, Helio Ocean, Motorola RAZR 2, Samsung E590, SGH-a717 & SGH-a727, Sony PSP Phone, Spice Mobile S-700, Ericsson T650, and Treo 755p are all great phones. And yet not one that I know of....so far....will have "autocomplete" for DotMobi TLDs in the browser when typing in a URL.

This is a project that the DotMobi organization needs to get a move on.
