Couldn't be said any better. There is no question here. People buy .co.in's only because they are the cheaper of the two. If they were both the same price, I think anyone would always take the .in. Buying the .co.in before the .in is like buying a .biz before a .com!l-l-l.com said:.in was always ahead of .co.in
and it might always be in front

Not necessarily. There are quite a few exceptions.Abstracts.tv said:Couldn't be said any better. There is no question here. People buy .co.in's only because they are the cheaper of the two. Abstracts.tv said:If you look at Namebio.com, and compare the number of .in's vs .co.in's sold, and the top prices for each, you will see there is no comparision either! Ther are about 6 pages of .in's listed as sold, versus not even 1 page of .co.in's. Myself, I sold Tuned.in for $2,000, and Videopoker.co.in for $435.
Top 3 in's sold
.IN's
$60,000
$9,473
$7,973
.Co.in's
$1,200
$1,000
$510
This makes it pretty clear to me which is the better. Of course, there will be exceptions. These may not be exact, and I'm sure there was a better .co.in sold somewhere. As of today, I would say the .in's are kicking the .co.in's butt! IMHO!

wot said:Looks like nambeio is incorrect as I personally have many .co.in sales above the highest price you show here, just this year $6,000, $5300, $5,000 being the highest.
That said , I also believe that .in will hold better value in general as it has a much wider appeal with the options of .in/internet/indiana/indonesia etc.
It won't stop me picking up good .co.in as I have no doubt it is a market on the verge of exploding along with the massive growth in India.
And I have some nice .in :tri:
