Hi guys,

When you search for my domain in google. (i.e. domain.com), the results for domain.com show up, however the description google gives my site include the button names at the top:

"Feed Rss · Blog Archive · About DomainName. December 22nd, 2010. Bad ..."

Its a blog running on wordpress, with an SEO mod. I started it about a week ago.

Any idea how to get google to exclude the links from the description?

EDIT: Link is in my sig.

Thanks everyone,
Rhett.

Hi Corey,
No i should enter some keywords hey lol. I'll do that.

My biggest problem is when i type in "disturbed chicken"

There you will see the results as:

DisturbedChicken.com
Feed Rss · Home · About DisturbedChicken. December 22nd, 2010. DisturbedChicken Attacks the Interwebz!!! No Comments, Uncategorized, by admin. ...
www.disturbedchicken.com/ - Cached
And the second result is even worse:
Bad Parenting… - DisturbedChicken.com
Feed Rss · Blog Archive · About DisturbedChicken. December 22nd, 2010. Bad ...
disturbedchicken.com/2010/12/bad-parenting/ - Cached
I'd rather not have the "Feed Rss - Home - About" in there if at all possible.

I'm just hoping to get a jump on this now rather than later.

I'll try changing the keywords and see if that helps, however i figured this would be an unrelated issue.

Cheers,
Rhett.

Just try to change your description and meta tags and use google webmaster tools for crawler issues.

Keywords aren't what you need - you need good, meta descriptions which are unique to each post/page.

(Even then, there's no guarantee Google will use them, but it's much more likely.)

As per my opinion, You have start the SEO technique which optimize your meta keywords for natural listings and traffic and You have to post your sites on bing , yahoo and Google. I am sure it would be help so.

I tried removing the title tags from the navigation links, hopefully that will help.

Problem solved. Thanks all.

I can see only one result now still containing the navigation links, i think it will disappear on its own though.

Cheers, Rhett.

I think you start indexing technology, which optimizes the meta keywords and lists of natural sites to send traffic and Bing, Yahoo and Google. I'm sure that would help both.
