Now, I have the feeling that's not exactly the appraisal it would've received on the forums.

I suppose the right advice to give to a newbie (I firmly count myself among the many noobs around) would be: don't get fixated on posting appraisal requests. Read them (there is much to be learnt), but concentrate, perhaps, on the "Report domain sales here" thread.

Incidentally, I was not the seller.

It's a PR4 with backlinks and likely quality traffic and revenue. This wasn't a purchase because the buyer liked the name.

Yes, PR4 website with lots of backlinks and solid alexa growing rank. Obviously it was website sale, not domain sale.
