Thread is for reviews of GoDaddy

This is inaccurate (link). These domains are then transferred to a GoDaddy holding account, effectively changing ownership. If customers are unaware of this, the domains will remain removed and invisible to the registrant until they notice themselves, and contact GoDaddy to restore the domains to their accounts.
If so, you should ask DNW to correct the 2023 article about this same issue. In that article it says that the domains are moved out of the GoDaddy account into a "special account". It appears that info came from a GoDaddy rep. Thank you. This is inaccurate (link).
Thanks, but I only have Mastercard.@DrJacoby same thing here today. Happening with Mastercard. I don;t have a VISA payment option, you could try if you do. PayPal works though if you have that option for now. (or should work)

Your description of the internal disorganization at GoDaddy aligns closely with what a GoDaddy representative recently shared with a forum member, expressing similar frustrations:It's healthy to question the accuracy of GoDaddy information even when given in good faith. For example, I've reached out to Premier Services support when I noticed that names that I'd attempted to register and had completed payment for were still showing as available for general registration quite a bit later. I've had two reps (neither my primary contact) tell me not to worry because those names are held at the registry level in these cases and cannot be registered.
With the first rep (who was very good), I told him that I believed that I could register them and asked if he wanted me to try. I registered them at Dynadot while on the line with him. He appreciated the real world feedback that contradicted what his techs were telling him. He cared enough even to follow up the next day. Top notch.
The second rep, for a different incident, called back after the names had finally made it to my account. He told me too that I need not worry because even though the names show as available, they really aren't. He believed his techs. I believed my actual experience with this.
The names are invisible in these cases. That's not a good experience for the user and it doesn't sit right. Maybe the name has moved accounts. Maybe it hasn't. I don't know. I do believe that you are accurately reporting what you have been told.
I managed to solve the problem by changing currency from my local currency to USD.@DrJacoby same thing here today. Happening with Mastercard. I don;t have a VISA payment option, you could try if you do. PayPal works though if you have that option for now. (or should work)
It's been like that for a few weeks.GoDaddy's Bulk Search is failing at the moment for me. Operational excellence.
We couldn't perform your search. Try again later.

What's Dynadot's max search limit? Right now I'm using Namecheap, 5,000 domains max. They are not perfect by any means but it works, in contrast to GoDaddy. It was working for me for a while today but the "try again later" message is not uncommon. I was able to use it quite a bit yesterday. When a GoDaddy feature works, especially availability searches, it often feels like a pleasant surprise.
I shifted activity to https://www.dynadot.com/domain/bulk-search
Dynadot's bulk search works. Not a surprise.
