Let's do something very helpful for the community, guys:
WHOIS all your domains sold through Afternic over the past year, and publicly share here the percentage sold via GoDaddy as the registrar, Namecheap as the registrar, and others.
Most likely the registrar didn't change.
Why? Because Afternic claims a lot about their so-called "network" but we, domainers, rarely get real data about where the sales are really happening.
If most of your sales are pushed through GoDaddy, it means GoDaddy is the true engine.
If Namecheap or others are behind many sales, it proves something else.
And remember: Namecheap is about to open their own aftermarket very soon.
It could change a lot of things.
Let's stop guessing. Let's bring real numbers and help everyone make better decisions.
It's not about complaining. It's about clarity.
I start:
For me it's about 48% Godaddy, 48% Namecheap and 4% Others (some chinese registrars and so on)
