Where are registrar sales being announced?

Hi everyone.

I really appreciate the couple registrar-specific coupon threads here (GoDaddy, name.com, namecheap), but I'm not finding the prices for those coupons to be all that "cheap" - especially for transfers (and I have a lot of transfers no less). Most "coupons" only seem to bring down these registrars' bloated prices to that which you can find elsewhere without having to waste time on a coupon hunt.

Yeah yeah, maybe I'm pinching pennies, but if you accept that premise, then where can I find announcements of REAL sales? Like 1and1 had a REAL sale a year ago for domains at around $5 each. That's cheap - that's what a real coupon should be all about.

Searching Google for "domain registration sale" or anything similar is of course a mind-numbing exercise in futility most of the time.

Are there any threads here that keep tabs on REAL sales? Or anywhere else to keep an eye on?

If you want to make bulk transfer, you may take time for conversation with namecheap support. You may got special coupon if you want to transfer more than 50 domain.

But for me, make some reseller account on some domain registrant would be primary options.

resell.biz is my option. Check my attachment for a prices that ive got.

yeah , if you want to transfer a large number of domains , call the customer service of any registrar and they will be able to give you an even better discount

also , specifically for GoDaddy , do a google search for "domain" , "domain registration" or "domain transfer" ... on the sponsored results it usually has nice new-customer-enticing prices for new regs or transfers

check this post ... namepros.com/577802-godaddy-discount-codes-411.html#post4249403 ... for a $5.13 example

Yeah, I tried the customer service approach with several registrars and got nothing out of them. I don't quite have enough domains to be seen as a valuable "domainer" to them, but I'm in no-mans-land where I have more than just a couple.

I saw your posts on the GoDaddy thread and they were VERY helpful - I will reply there (thank you VERY much!)

But I'm still going to ask the community the original question:

WHERE ARE (more generally) DOMAIN REGISTRATION SALES ANNOUNCED?

No need to yell.

If the have their Official Thread and a code/coupon is required then usually in there.
If not then possibly in the Domain Discussion forum - or for Advertising one - in the General Advertising forum.

Figure out which registrar has the features you want. Read reviews on their CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Then search (google or NP) for "registrar coupon"
Name.com has a facebook page where they usually announce their coupon codes.
Namecheap has Namecheapcoupons.com
