GoDaddy STEALING domains from people's accounts

So here it is.

Today I have received an email from GD saying that 3 of my numeric domains that I have bough from a NP member were cancelled and removed from my account.
Surprised I checked the whois and it turns out the are repossessed by GD.

I call the ( useless ) support and they tell me that there are problems with the previous owner's account and that if I want the domains back in my account I have to pay for their registration.

WTF?

So GoDaddy refuses to contact the previous owner and gives me 2 options

1) pay for registration
2) contact the previous owner and see what he/she can do...
WHAT????

WARNING : GoDaddy will take away any domain from your account if the previous owner/s are having issues on their accounts. They STEAL domains from the current account no matter what and if you want to have them back you have to pay for registration ( or whatsoever amount they tell you ). THEY DO NOT CARE how long the names have been in your account for and they DO NOT CARE that you have not being the registrar and they DO NOT CARE that you are not the "non paying" account holder.

GODADDY IS A FRAUD, BEWARE! GODADDY ARE THIEVES.

Transfer any domain out as soon as you can.

I would be really really pleased to hear what @Joe Styler has to say about this.
In the meantime shame on you GoDaddy

Only thing you can do is deal with trusted people who has done transaction before. Nothing else you can do. Seller be it registrar or anyone else try to verify more and more details to avoid this kind of chargeback but the ones who does it will do..

I like those who are so quick at saying that it is "procedure"..

I would ask them if they thought about what GD would have done if the name were with another registrar...they would have spoken straight away with the "troublemaker" but as the names were still with them it was sooooo much easier to just go and take it from my account and ask ME to pay for them.

I think who ever done this type of activities get caught. Should have a site that track these kind of people; and post their info and photos & such. I think godaddy can tract that seller information. And block from selling and buying.

Pretend for a moment this was a premium name with a $1000 price tag that you "bought" for $1 at a Namepros auction.
What do you suggest GoDaddy (or anyone do in this circumstance)?

If they made the policy be lenient then the number of ways people would abuse the system would cause all manner of problems.

If GoDaddy made rules that said you couldn't transfer domains until after a time that prevented all charge backs all refunds all other methods available to someone to not pay that would cause everyone to complain.

They had 99c coupons and people didn't use just 1 they used hundreds. We're talking domainers with 20+ accounts using 99 cent coupons on all of them. They restrict coupons and everyone complains.

The fault here lies clearly with the seller. You, unfortunately, got screwed.
It's not something that is normal because buying such young names is unusual (until recently). When you chase $ and you do it in unregulated marketplaces you've got to live with the consequences. It's not like this is going to be lots of $$ so it should just be a lesson learned imho {actually it's only $10 per name}

You bought it from NP= NamePros member?

Yes. As I mentioned I am giving this person the opportunity to fix this problem via PM. If it does not get fixed in the time frame it will be made public.

exactly my thoughts.

I can understand all about being upset about situation. but to give crap and attack innocents trying to help and understand is lame and pathetic. your way out of control lady.

I'm out of here.

What happened was a issue with my credit card ( I Don't know because the office is closed right now 5:34 AM here) And GoDaddy put in hold this domains.

Im fixing the problem.
