GoDaddy price? I don't understand

Please someone explain this...

I was trying to register 6 .info domains at $0.79 each (discounted) but during the process of registration, godaddy charges me $10.78 each for 2 years... Is there any set-up or hidden fees? This is the first time I am trying to use goddady though I have dozens of domains with other registrars...

During the process of registration you will have choice to choose the years of registration.
Promo price applicable for 1 year registrations only. Always check the billing amount before making payment. Wish you good luck

In other words, GoDaddy will default the purchase to a longer reg period-just change the reg period to one year manually and go to checkout-you'll get the discounted price on the next page.
