GoDaddy on pre-reg mode for 24 hours.

I just spoke to an agent from Godaddy and was informed that Godaddy will not be offering live registrations until they've run through their pre-registration list. They will be offering a full refund to customers who do not get the domain names they pre-registered for a period of 5 days. They should run through the list within 24 hours.

It also appears that other registrars are operating on a similar basis.

So you will get the refund in 5 days or you can choose a domain not available?

I havent got the one domain i ordered through godaddy as ive checked the whois on it and its gone.

I only preorded yesterday so im not sure what you mean by the 5 day thing!

If you don't get the domain you pre-registered, you will be entitled to a full refund which you can claim for 5 days from the notice given that your domain registration was unsuccessful.

I strongly recommend that you contact Godaddy if you want further information.

It seems that some of mine have already been refunded because they were unsuccessful. Perhaps, they could mean that they will try to refund it from your payment source for upto 5 days?

It seems so, I just had several thousand dollars refunded
