I would like to share this unpleasant experienced I have with Godaddy.com. And I was wondering if you can relate this experienced.

Current Issues: I have returned 2 domain names.
Prices: $70.11 & $35.59

Date Returned: 4/18/16 $70.11
4/16/16 $35.59

Godaddy Stated that both itmes was being refunded on tha date mentioned above. And I should get me refund within 2 to 3 business day.

Payment was thru direct from my bank account; so the funds is live. So when I purshased a domain, they will get their money right away.

Problem: I finally received a refund for $70.11 on the 4/29/16 for a good ten days stretch!
The $35.59 never recieve.

Note: I have contacted Godaddy support several times about this issues; they all told me that they have refunded me for both items. And they no longer have the funds in their position.

My Bank: so when my bank confronted the godaddy stories; Godaddy changed their alibis. They now said they never refunded me the $35.59, they were canceled.

@Joe Styler @Joe Styler please I want the truth!! I have spent too much time on this issues. I don't like to play games, and other transsction have been affected by this Goddady way of doing thing!!

Sincerely,

ZapNano

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I am looking into the refunds. We did refund the money and will trace the funds to see where they are. I have been exchanging PM's with her and she has seen the one refund in her bank so we are looking into the other one. It normally takes banks a day or two to respond.

Why GoDaddy vs Uniregistry? Why not GoDaddy, we have an excellent source of domains to invest in through our exclusive expired domain inventory on auctions.godaddy.com. Once you pick up those names you can access the largest sales channel through Afternic which gets your domains in front of millions of end users looking for those names in hundreds of places such as Network Solutions, Enom, HiChina, GoDaddy, etc. We sell 10's of thousands of Aftermarket domains per month. We also offer for sale landers, excellent brokers, and top notch security. I could go on, but I don't see any reason not to use us if you want to make money with your domains. You can buy good aged domains and resell them in one place.

You're lucky that @Joe Styler is taking time to help you out.... I can guaranty you wouldn't get this kind of support at another registrar.

It also doesn't seem like you are very grateful for his help.

I disagree. It seems like Zapnano is appreciative of Joe's efforts, but she is angry that the support guy was claiming it is paid, but once bank got involved they immediately reversed what they were saying.

That or the support person doesn't know how to respond to such a situation. Heh, I know I didn't when I first encountered that situation until I learned---the hard way at that.

Meantime, folks, Joe from Go Daddy responded to ZapNano's issue. Time will tell how this one goes.

For you, I don't blamed you if you feel this way. However, you are not in my shoe to feel what I feel. And you don't have all the information about Joe and I conversation via PM. Just like I said we are getting closer to solve the issue. At this point, there were some discrepancies from godaddy side which has led me to post this issue on here. This discripancies was being recognized by Joe. In any event, I have to do more work from my end, to get godaddy name out of this. So, take easy on me and be cool. Joe has done extraordinary job, on my finding where is the discripancy came from. And he has received my messages for doing this and that. Godaddy, has found the right person for the job!! And that is @Joe Styler. I was going to save all these messages later, but here it is; coming from my heart.

Why GoDaddy vs Uniregistry?

Why even bother mentioning that name in the same sentence as Godaddy? :)
It simply hasn't earned the right to be compared to Godaddy on any level.

Godaddy definitely has the best sales channels for selling domains.

I disagree, I choose NameCheap over GoDaddy every day of the week. Have you used their live chat service too? Let me tell you it's absolutely phenomenal, whatever the issue, they will fix it for you.

Here is the outcome of the issues: And you can do your analysization of the stories..

A.) Joe, has spoke to my bank personnel today at around noon Eastern time. And I was at my bank also while they were talking.

1.) Joe did some research about the $35.99 refund. According to Joe findings, at their end; Joe said, the funds was refunded on 4/16/16; however my bank has Declined the funds of $35.99 from godaddy refund. This according to godaddy record; when godaddy traces the funds.

The bank do not have the funds, godaddy don't have the $35.99; and I don't got it. Joe said, the money it just sat at processor.

My bank, has kept their story all this time. Bank said, it has never received $35.99 from godaddy all this time. Bank has continued to denied, that they don't have any record of them declining the $35.99 refund from godaddy.

Assumptions of what might had happen: from Godaddy side, technical errors of the funds processing and maybe system dis functional and the like.

Bank assumption of what might had happened; system and processing error..and more reasoning...

Therefore, the discripancy was pointed out at system and technical errors.

Now you have the chance to analyze the stories...

@Joe Styler, I thank you for your quick response to the situation. And I appreciate the time and all the efforts that you had put in to resolve the issue. I believe you are the right person for the job. And you want to do the right thing, to everybody.
Keep up a good job..

I hope this situation can be prevented and of course your 10days refund policy my need to be soften. ..

Sincerely,

ZapNano

My analysis is godaddy is honest. Look at the support you received from them, actually speaking to a bank representative. You'll get your money back, I would be very upset if it happened to me.
Thanks for updating
And thanks to Joe, what you do for us here goes a long way in us having trust in godaddy
I think godaddy should issue a $1 promo code and call it "joestyler"
Godaddy is the best @Michael Ehrhardt its to bad their not the cheapest,

Let's not forget Joe is getting paid for the time he spends on here, I know it might be easy to think he is some sort of white knight but in reality he's just doing his job. You're thanking him for a problem that was no fault of the OP and he had no choice but to come in and try to salvage the reputation of GoDaddy because this is his job and that's what he gets paid for.

Now, if Joe refunded her the $35.99 out of his own pocket from the wages he earns hanging around here then fair play but he isn't so why I do admire that he is trying to help it's still his job and he gets paid for it.

Like I said previously, NameCheap are far superior when it comes to customer service, after years of using their service I've never had any problems whatsoever and never had to come onto a forum to vent my frustration about them not doing what I expect...

Maybe b/c this issue happens more often then not... To multiple accounts...
Yeah, I've had my own issues with GoDaddy over the years -- significant enough that I'd sworn off completely, UNTIL I started domaining. It's a little hard to stay completely away in this field.

Never has happen. I spent a lot of money at godaddy (GD). I have had refunds, canceled products. I once purchased a very large order of 50 domains at reg fee for 5 years each! Yea, it was a lot... Changed my mind, thought it was a mistake..had buyers remorse. GD refunded it all because it was within the time frame and the domains were new regs...

Very happy with GD.. May not be a system problem with GD.. Rather, probably just an individual representative problem.

Let's not forget to add their free Whois Privacy (for the 1st year, then durr cheap there after), free DNS for domains hosted elsewhere ... and they're having an awesome 26c Star Wars deal on the .XYZ extensions at the moment - who can beat that right?

Also you may use cloudns.net and/or cloudflare.com - if you need DNS...

Accordingly Namecheap...
I had ~10 conversations with their stupid marketing team during the last few years about .PRO... without any positive result... the same story was with GoDaddy, Dynadot and 1and1...
Actually Namecheap and Dynadot got .PRO-accreditation from Afilias just in Nov'2015 and GoDaddy in Feb'2016... after 11+ years since .PRO was launched... and 1and1 is still NOT accredited...
