Hello
Today i've noticed that if i log in in my godaddy android app and i put a bid on a domain name saved in my watchlist, after the second confirmation (second submit pressed) i got a message with "bid not saved" and the bid is not placed.
I've tried to do the same process from my mobile browser and i got the same error.

All is working fine instead if from my mobile browser i force the request for the desktop version.

Anyone noticed the same issue?
I think it is godaddy mobile service with a glitch.

Thanks,
After I've contacted Godaddy support they said no one has reported the problem. They told me it is my device

Had the same problem the other day. Had to keep running back to my desktop. Doesn't seem like they take mobile seriously since the problem with auction links not going where they're supposed to has never been fixed.

Yesterday I've talked with their support and they said it was my mobile but after show them the contrary (with another call) they found the glitch in the system.
They said it should be working again before the end of the week.

At the moment if you force your mobile to their desktop version all is ok.
Not the best but better than nothing
The issue is only on mobile app and their mobile site.

@Joe Styler

Same issue here, this needs to be looked at. Support is to passive, bid save error.

Months are already passed.
I continue to report this to them but they always continue to say to me to do the same process (Uninstall the app and so on) because I'm the only one reporting the issue...
After the third time I can't anymore reply quietly...
I hope in Joe...

Same here, reported the issue twice now. GD tech said they working on it!?

I spent a good half an hour to figure it out with their tech guy. Sent them screenshots, tried everything.

This is a major issue. Very frustrating and for the life of me I can't even force the desktop version through. It keeps reverting to mobile.

yeah, at least it seem that they fixed the mobile version. yesterday i was able to place a bid on mobile without to force desktop mode.

I was trying yesterday and it wasn't working -- not the app and not the mobile version through my browser, so I'm not sure anything's been fixed. Mobile doesn't seem to be a big priority for them: see Domain Shane's gripes about their broken mobile links.

GoDaddy is certainly up to somethingโ€ฆ I spent most of the day earlier on GD Auctions, checking my Watch List, Saved Searches etc. Logging back on just now (7pm PST) the entire interface has changed completely. It looks and feels different to use and I can't honestly say that it's an improvement. At least my lists haven't disappeared but they're all in different places. I'm surprised that no-one from GD gave any sort of heads-up on NP.

Could you please comment on this issue @Joe Styler? Thanks.

Yes we made an update to the interface last night. It is now more like the rest of the site instead of the older version that it was for a while. In this release there was not much done functionally except making it look nicer and taking out a couple items that were repeated. However, it will allow us to do some exciting things that people have asked for. This was a lot of work under the hood and it will allow it to some nice things soon. Also keep an eye on us during namescon as we will have some improvements to announce then.

Referring to the full website version of Auctions, to me it seems clunkier visually. I can't seem to "dial in" and focus, whereas with the old interface, the lead domain prices and names were front and center.

Like an Excel spreadsheet with too much empty space. Tedious.

Fonts are too big, clunky. Too many lines.

I'm not sure about the new design, but will give it some time to see if I adjust.

However the real issue @Joe Styler that I think most of us are interested in in this thread is that we get a Bid Save Error when trying to bid on auctions through our mobile phones. It certainly would seem to be in GD's interest to make mobile bidding easier (or rather: possible) these days! $$$

Thanks

Sorry , I think I missed the error part. I may have been reading too quickly. There are some changes coming that should resolve this if you can give it a couple weeks I believe this will all be resolved as there are some things we did behind the scenes with the new update that will allow better functionality in the short term.
