I don't now if this is the right place to start this thread. But I would like to know how many people sold domains through GoDaddy and Escrow.com and got those sales canceled due to lack of payment from a (confidential) buyer.

It just did happen to me...

I don't know how you sell a domain thru escrow.com without knowing the identity of the buyer.

Had this twice at Godaddy! Both sales were cancelled by Escrow.

As both sales were quite big, I contacted Escrow, but they couldn't help as the buyer never logged in at Escrow to give their details.

I also called my rep at Godaddy, but she couldn't give me any details, not even a hint (with the second sale I had a hint which company it was) out of confidentiality, even after I explained that Sedo gives the details of a non-paying buyer.

Maybe the buyers backed off because they didn't want to open an escrow.com account and give lots of personal information.

I suggest that you don't sell domains higher than $1000 at Godaddy. I never do. I use sedo.

I have never had this happen to me. Although I have never done large sales through Go Daddy
