GF's Dog Rascal Died

My ex-girlfriend's Shih Tzu, Rascal, died from cancer a couple days ago.. thought I'd kind of immortalize him here as he was such a good "puppy" (he was 14 actually).. always fun to be around!

That dog really loved his walks, treats, and, most of all, going for a ride in the car!

I loved that dog and will miss him alot!

That dog knew I'd always take him for a walk.. even after the GF and I split up, if I'd visit, he'd go sit next to the front door and wait for me to take him out.. I think he always figured I was there to see him anyway. I felt like a divorced dad visiting a kid!

He didn't mind a bath but hated getting his face wet.. if you got his face wet, he'd splutter and want to get out of the tub!

The GF would hate when I'd sneak him food home from a dinner buffet

Sorry to hear that Dave,

Even it wasn't your Dog any longer after the break up, you still stay attached with them...

As a Father of 5 dogs i cannot imagine to loose a single one of them....makes me sad to even think about it......

Dave, I'm sorry to hear about Rascal. It's always tough to lose a pet after you've become attached to them and they're a part of the family.

Thanks everybody.. your comments help make me feel better! Just to illustrate how I felt, I've always had Rascal's picture on my mousepad (not the GF's as you might think ) :lol:
