I see people here regging all kind of GEO .TVs. I can understand getting all the countries and huge cities .TVs but I've been seeing some regging small cities, small towns simply because it's a geo.

I'm just curious, are there any other factors you guys consider other than the fact that it's a GEO .tv?

Small city in India, small village in China GEOs. Are these worth it?

Are you guys looking at the Google results? OVT score? Wordtracker score?

Thank you. I'd love to hear your thoughts. :)

I wouldn't buy most of the smaller geo's i see people reggin as there will never be enough people to use a developed site (unless there is a thriving tourist industry)

Generally i wouldnt buy a Geo without 100k+ population or a great tourist industry.

Look,
if your from the particular geo region, and you have a unique development plan, then size does not matter, its what you can do with it lol

Seriously, this board has spoke on this before, the best geo's are the ones you actually know well.

Obviously some exceptions, big top 25 or top 100 cities are going to be valuable on there own, abbreviations etc..

But any geo which you have an idea about can be valuable if you have an idea how to make it valuable.

If buying to develop: I agree with Mindwrecker completely, local knowledge is one of the major factors in developing a Geo (one of main reasons i bought Scotland.tv)

IF buying to sell : Stick to large population or major tourist areas
