Hey i am in the process of purchasing NNN.mobi domains as an investment idea and i was just wondering what others think the future will hold for them. Will we see a rise in value? What will we see them developed into?

Hey i am in the process of purchasing NNN.mobi domains as an investment idea and i was just wondering what others think the future will hold for them. Will we see a rise in value? What will we see them developed into?

I honestly don't see them appreciating very quickly at all. In fact, at the current "value" of $600-700, I think that they're overvalued. Why? Maybe it's just me "hating on" number-only domains in general, but I just don't see a lot of uses for them. I honestly don't understand how we can expect site visitors to remember combinations of random numbers (of course, I'm not trying to bad-mouth all number-only domains...some of them are quite meaningful and memorable). After all, how many NNN domains (any extension) do you see that are developed? Not a whole lot (please correct me if I'm wrong). I would rather have an LLL to develop any day.

They just don't make sense to me personally. :imho:

That said, I do realize that NNN.mobi's are faster and easier to type in on a cell phone (and rarer than in other extensions, I believe), but I'm flabbergasted as to why many domainers consider them to be "worth" 3x or 4x the value of LLL.mobi's when most NNN's continue to stay parked since no one seems to know of any way to develop them appropriately.

Conclusion: Not a great investment area (personally I am going with LLL instead). :imho:

I sold a more or less random #'s NNN.org not that long ago for mid-upper $200's in a "Quick Sale" ... thus, I'd be a seller at below this level for any similar .MOBI's, IMHO.
Of course, supply vs. demand should work in favor of the NNN holder ... that's if the demand increases or, at least, stays the same. With the .MOBI, who knows?

Like you said Jeff NNN.mobi are better suited then any other extension thats why i think there will be a bigger market for them over say .coms in the future. Even with other extension it seems the reseller value of NNN is larger then that of LLL names thats why i think there is some investment value in these name.
Although only time will tell.

Just purchased 7 nnn.mobi's which can be seen in my signiture.

Also what are your thoughts now on NNN.Mobi's? After we have had some large .mobi sales?
