Somebody bid on a generic NNN .mobi I have listed at Sedo, but the price is nowhere near the high XXX/low X,XXX that these things usually sell for.
What I have noticed though is that the lowest a NNN auction starts the higher it ends - presumably because many more people join the bidding at lower prices.
I also noticed that the lowest prices for NNN .mobis achieved at Sedo are those that had gone to auction with a single bid above US $600/$800.
Here is the question: do you think I can rely on the emerging liquidity at Sedo to take care of an obviously underpriced NNN.mobi?
My concern is that the current bid is $200, and visually a low XXX may not be different enough from a high XXX number to attract enough bidders for a fair price to be achieved.
In other words I think a very similar domain will probably sell for more if it is sent to auction at US$ 60 or whatever the minimum is these days.
What do you think - is it worth taking the risk of potentially selling myself short?
