Hello all,

It has come to my attention that all day today Fusedhosting has been down. All of my sites hosted with them are not working and I can't even access their site to make a support ticket.....

Furthermore, I don't have a backup of my sites, and I see that the company was recently sold to someone else, so I am REALLY concerned about this!

If anyone knows ANYTHING - PLEASE let me know.

Thanks in advance!

K so the info is not lost since my redirects still work, which is kind of weird. Just put our freakin files in effect please this is really really annoying and has put a dent in my business.

good luck - I have now been in communication with the company who they used to register my domain to try to regain control of it. Hopefully they'll see this whole debacle as reason enough to give it back to me.

Good luck, I am just waiting to get clients files off the server.

Has anyone sent a support ticket?
Their stupid captcha image does not load - how convenient! They have done this on purpose.

I can not get in contact at all. I am not going to give up on getting a refund.

Have they not tried to contact you?
This is really bad, I would highly suggest that you start a Paypal dispute once you have your files.

Funny thing is you can not get your files. Made Home Directory back ups but totally forgot to make Database backups. Wish it were the other way around...

Anyways, they billed me today LOL, what a joke.

Go to submit a ticket and you get no image for the verification.

<div id="searchresults" class="contentbox" style="display:none;"></div>
<p align="center">Please enter the security code shown in the image - this is required to prevent automated submissions<br />
<img src="includes/verifyimage.php" border="0" class="absmiddle" alt="Verify Image" />
<input type="text" name="code" size="10" maxlength="5" />
</p>
<p align="center">
<input type="submit" value="Submit" />

Notice the bold part. They changed it so you could see no image. Sorry but that is freakin lame.

Does that mean they do it intentionally to prevent the image from being viewed? :rolleyes:

Yes, That means they removed it so you could not send a support ticket.

If you dont pay they will close your account, If you pay you cant use your account.

@Ross- Thats why you make Full backups.

Fusedhosting sent me an email earlier that my support tickets will be closed for not replying within 24 hours....stupid because all of them were threads with single posts started by me which they have not answered any, aside from one that they have not resolved (the response I got was "We apologize for your inconvenience, we are looking into the ticket and will resolve this issue ASAP." ), then no more follow up and now it's closed...

Following that was an invoice :) Hell....THEY STILL ASKS FOR PAYMENT AFTER SUCH A HUGE DAMAGE!!!

EVERY ONE WHO READS THIS, DON'T EVER TRY FUSEDHOSTING, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

FUSEDHOSTING IS A PRETENDING HOSTING COMPANY EVERY INTERNET GUY, WEB DEVELOPER, DESIGNER, SEO, OR BLOGGER SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM!

FILING A PAYPAL DISPUTE NOW! I ENCOURAGE OTHER MEMBERS AFFECTED TO DO THE SAME AND LET'S :kickass:

Not related to my previous ownership of the company, I feel I shouldtell people to respect peoples social networking profiles, it could potentially be described as harrassment which could cause you issues in the future. However, public information such as Whois and emails would probably be acceptable.

Just some advice, after all you wouldn't like it.

IMHO, I think it's the right of the paying people to find the guy wherever he is when he seems to ran away with the money the customers have spent hoping to have their sites hosted by fusedhosting.net but not getting what they paid for...

Finally got a response through the support ticket I re-opened this morning. Got my EPP code for the domain so I'm outta there. They have also agreed to refund me the cost of the hosting. I've still got one account that would be good to get the db but isn't that much to remake so I may just let that one go. Still want a refund on it.

But what about all the rest of the clients and Files.

lol...this is really a bad news. I think the old owner must take some responsibilty and it should contact the new one to ensure everything.

Its just crappy cause Cpanel wont load for me to get the clients files. I got into the billing department but when I try and go to cpanel it just reloads and reloads.

I would not recommend it, if they was the last host on earth.

just when I think I've got thing sorted - can't move my domain out because of the 60 day rule - never heard of this before because I've never has to move one so quickly. bummer.

Yeah... that rule is legit. I am not sure who the registrar is for the domain but, you might be able to create an account at the registration provider's website and then request that the domain be pushed into your account. Kind of like a change of ownership sort of thing. At least that way you would be able to have full control over the domain. The problem here at the moment is the host, not really the registrar.

I know for a little while when FusedHosting first started out, they were referring people to RegisterBird for domain registrations. But I take it you probably might not be one of the lucky few who were referred to us.

How did you open a ticket if the captcha image doesnt load?
this is what is frustrating, they have DELIBERATELY removed the captcha so tickets can't be lodged!

Please read this whole thread before posting comments.

Domains will be at GoDaddy or NameCheap, particularly not RegBird if it's within the 60 day rule. A whois will tell you which registrar it is at. If you create an account at godaddy, provide them (fusedhosting) with your GD username and email and provide your namecheap username if it is at namecheap. You should make sure that the address on your account is updated and the registrar is happy with it before requesting transfer as this could delay it.

I already had a support ticket that was closed. I just re-opened with a new query.

Keep working at it folks, I know it's frustrating, but it does seem the new folks over at Fused are beginning to grant some things.
