Hi,

Which one is better for me to use as a beginner in the web design world, FrontPage or Dreamweaver?

Yes, dreamweaver. Frontpage puts out trash code in the first place, and second of all, you need a server that supports its extra tags.

:o

Microsoft who???

I am editing a site now done in Frontpage and it is amazing how bad the code is. I could cut it down at least 50% with DW and DW is still dirty compared to normal coding.

Frontpage is good for those who are beginners in web designing whereas dreamweaver is a more of an advanced program. I would suggest dreamweaver only if you are familiar with HTML. To get familiar with HTML and also considering the fact that you are a beginner in web designing, I think frontpage is a more suitable option.

from someone else who has only really started developing in the last 6 months, i would recommend dreamweaver. The tutorials and online support are great and with a cluey mind you can make some nice sites. Good luck with your choice.
