It's a game.

For each answer you get right, they will donate 20 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help end hunger.

1 Right = 20 grains
5 Right = 100 grains
etc...

A worthy cause.

It's addictive as well! I'm up to 6,200. I love some of the words that come up in the English language section - my favourite so far:

a goliard - "A wandering student in medieval Europe disposed to conviviality, license, and the making of ribald and satirical Latin songs." You learn something new every day...!!

I also liked one of the options for the definition of 'a derailleur': A French train driver - lol

I guess they must of figured out how many grains of rice there are on average per gram and then just multiplied it out.

Okay cool thing and they might be donating too.

But now I am pissed off.

I just went to their Totals page and from there I went to http://www.poverty.com/index.html

I saw the list of people dying every hour etc.. etc...

But some names that were there were not Indians and those kind of names doesn't even exists. Yet if I am fool then okay.....

What happens next is the same girl I saw her pic in dying due to AIDS is now dying due to hunger after some mins.

They can't just fool like that. They should have written that Yes so and so people die every year. But I just hate when they try to over exaggerate the things by showing images and count and names and all.

Sorry if I am hurting someone's sentiments I also know how bad the situation is, only thing is showing this kind of things and that also from another angle is bad thing.
