If you have heard of FreeRice, good for you. If not, check their website out at http://www.freerice.com

You solve math and english problems and they will donate 10 grains of rice to WFP. I've found a Greasemonkey script (can work on Opera as a user JS) which automates this (for math problems only). Moreover, FreeRice does not condemn scripts for this purpose, as long as the time between is 2 seconds so as not to tax their server.

Awesome, very intresting.

It's amazing what they do to feed others all over the world, but what is the point?

Why can't they just give out the rice without the questions? - I can't see any adverts on there site so is there a reason for the public to be involved in such a way?

There are adverts, by sponsors like Apple. I think it is the exposure advertisers get. Rather than altruistic giving.
