Four Letter .COM Domains ALL Registered!

Hey everyone, I have been following the last few hours of the LLLL.com domain countdown. If you didn't know, today is the day that the last of the names get taken... my latest reported update as of the time of this post is around 400 available to register.

This is a historic event for the domain industry. Will 4 Letter names spike in value or flop and start expiring? Will five letter brandables (LLLLL.com) become the new trend of must have names?

Love to see a run showing who has taken the bulk of these names. Seeing how widespread the market was, which letters were preferable, and the experience of the large holders might give the domain group credibility.

Interesting topic that I have been following over the past few weeks. I think it would be important to note that non-english languages have different ideas as to what is non-premium and that there is no concensus as to what those letters are. Q,X,Z,Y or Q,X,Z or Q,X,Z,J. etc... folks are all over the map and those differences have led to different registrations/investment strategies. Looking at those dynamics might also be interesting to watch. Attaching personalities/faces with the trend will also help to give this story more legs I think. Also might want to discuss what this is doing to the 3L and 5L.coms and 4L.nets.

Domainers are on top of these kinds of things every day so an article like this that takes a step back and reviews the history leading up to this event puts some good perspective on it. Thanks for the article and looking forward to more.

I was just doing a search....the only 4 letter .com avaliable that I could find was VQYX.com

So I regged it :p
