Does anybody know how to ask, how many plates in spanish? Is it "cuantos platos"?

I always have spanish only speaking customers that call over their english speaking son, daughter, etc. whenever I ask how many plates they need for their pizza.

Shows how much I learned in my two years of spanish classes. :)
