Finding expired domains with backlinks or PR

How do you find domains that are expired/expiring that have PR or backlinks associated with them?

I just got one from Pool.com recently (PR3 and 200 uniques weekly ,several backlinks) Had been an Active site and Company went broke

try this...

I sometimes will go to Alexa www.alexa.com (click Traffic Rankings) and see if the domain has any traffic,. also, you can go to the internet Wayback machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php) and see if it was ever developed...
