Hi everyone.

So the other day I asked a questions here: https://www.namepros.com/threads/pe...arty-auction-sale-sites.1017418/#post-6145913
And every ones response was amazing and convinced me to make my own site to sell domains (thanks to those who replied).

I've set up a website for this, it is still in progress but the shell of it is up and I've started adding some pages.
I would love it if you could give me some feedback on the look, prices and feel of the site.

>> Website is http://www.namepire.com

I still need to create some supporting pages and add more domain names but I do have some pages up. I just want to know your opinions, features you'd like to see if you came across the site looking to buy a domain name and just overall look.

If all goes well, I may even consider adding a bit of a free membership section where people can join and add their portfolio with contact info to buy? Still not 100% on that option but it is in the back of my head.

Much appreciated.
Thanks!

On the mobile phone, menu icon not displaying / not visible (white color on white background). just change the color in CSS.

Site looks good, congratulations.
My advice is not to include the expiry date nor the registrar in the domain page. You're not selling to resellers you're targeting end users with this website. Expiry date and registrar is not an issue to buyers, on the contrary, you're just adding trivial issues that may make a buyer change his/her mind. Instead of that, you should add a bit of text highlighting the advantages of the domain name and the various niches that can make use of it etc. Good luck!

Edit: took a second look and you do indeed include a text explaining the advantages. That's good.

One thing to keep in mind: if somebody is interested in a domain name that you own, they will usually visit it to see if there is an active website. Or they will use whois to contact you.
Unless you redirect all your names to your website, nobody will visit it. End users don't do window shopping for domain names.

Very good points! Definitely makes sense, I will take that info down. Thank you for your feedback :)

Thanks Kate! I have some of my domain names forwarded already but plan to do it with all of them once I've completed the site. So homebrewbarn.com redirects to http://namepire.com/homebrewbarn-com/ well it should anyway :)

Appreciate your feedback :)

I only had a chance to check the site on mobile. I am on Note3 and it appears, the rows that are displaying the price of each domain name is showing the background of the site which is static and is making the prices hard to read due to the color of the text of the prices. You will need to check that.

When I click on Domains List, I see a banner or whatever you call it, saying priced to sell. I think this not necessary at all.If you are targeting resellers then yes , but end users dont care.

You need to fix the text and photos of the About us page. What is there is the dummy text I think, also the FAQs page. Some people concentrate on other parts and forget these things.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at the site and give some feedback, much appreciated.
I still have a lot of work to do + some fixing with the design with mobile so I will try get that fixed up today so it's more responsive.

Totally agree with the "priced to sell" banner on the domains list page. Think I was overthinking a little.

Will definitely be changing the about and faq page and adding more pages.

Really appreciate every ones time, thank you!

Overall first impression was that of a relatively easy to read and follow website.

Clean and lean look and direct to the point.

Given your at least 10 year involvement on NP I suggest you add something about your " years of experience" or " years selling domains " etc or the like on your " About " page.

Time and experience instills customer confidence that you have knowledge and experience with domains.

That's some really good advice, I've actually been wondering how to word things on the about page so talking about the experience I've had as a seller of domains and websites will definitely make a good impression.

Thanks again :)

Ok I like your website, but until you have nice good names for sale there - this will not take off. I have seen many sites come and go (many people i knew) invested time and money, but 99 percent of them if not all are gone. Dont spend too much energy/time/money, when none of your name listed are atleast even xxx range, it wont take off, if i were you, i would try to get good xxx names rather than spending time and money on this.

But a cool site though.
