I have built a little site to sell my domains at AirDN.com.

My idea is to make it fast and simple.

I'm using WordPress with a couple of free plugins I've tweaked. :) As you'll see, no big bells and whistles, just fast, safe, secure, and with all the necessary components (ie help, tos, payment gateway, etc.).

Do you think people would buy a domain on site with a super simple design? Or do sliders, etc, make a difference?

I still have static pages to write, some minor customization, and finish the payment gateway but I would love some feedback. Too simplistic?

Ok, here goes my review:

0. change font
1. i would use different blue, maybe some kind of blue-green-grey mix
2. dont use ads on website that represents your business
3. not look like profesional, the website could be simple but looks as corporative, check details, too much small text font but too big pagination numbers.
4. i would create more personalized header
5. i would use 2 principal color, maybe blu-green-grey + orange or dark red

it is not simple, it has no design.
nothing is personalized.

Imo would be good to have domains listed on the homepage, but hey maybe the Google look will work.

I like it. It may be a good idea to give visitors a taste of your stuff on the home page, rather than have them click the "browse domains" button.

Absolutely in agreement on this. When people come to a site, they have to be rewarded with seeing examples of a featured product for the sake of which they traveled the web for thousands of fiber-optic miles. For that reason, some part of the site inventory, has to be visible right upon arrival greeting a visitor already on the doorstep of a home page, without forcing a customer to go on a treasure hunt looking for that hidden golden goose egg domain by extra clicking on the tab of listed domains..

I would re-word " Is AirDN Safe and Secure" to a more positive, authoritative phrase such as
" AirDN is Safe and Secure " or similar, then state why AirDN is safe and secure

How about this: 'How Safe and Secure is AirDN ?', or 'How Safe and Secure is your purchase from AirDn?', or along these lines.

Search function: Has only been tested on a couple of names, but if it's based on a key-word/root-centric operation, it's likely to turn 'the name is unavailable' in its search results.. It's best to add some tagging to the domains depot so that search outcome synonymous with what is usually a merely key-word search parameter will be given out as suggestions.

Categorization: Since the domains are not listed alphabetically (but are neatly grouped by categories and extensions), it's a matter of extra convenience by enabling a user to put a domain they are interested in (as they shuffle through rows of domains) on a watch-list for future reverse reference.

All the rest represents good and sound domaining practices !

Nice design. I liked the homepage and the questions underneath the search. Perhaps the font a little bigger on the domains?
