Escrow Funded. Auth code sent. Buyer not transferring?

Hi all,

I am currently selling a domain via Sedo. The buyer has funded escrow to Sedo, and I have provided auth code.

We are going on about 7 days+ of the buyer not transferring the domain. The transfer team is of no assistance, and will only be vague, and the broker doesn't even want to have anything to do with this any longer.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yes, I have had a few buyers not pay up on Sedo, not a lot you can do Im afraid

Are you saying the money has been paid?

Yes, Sedo has the money.

You may need to just call them and sort it out

Usually I say to sedo, you take 10% you have to work for it! And deal with the transfer! I usually push to sedo and then they credit me. And then the buyer can take years to transfer

Sedo has own escrow-accounts with all popular registrars - just push this domain to Sedo and that's all... they will send your money immediately after that...

And their escrow is 3% (min. $60).
10/15/20% (min. $60) commission is only when using their marketplace and MLS.

sedo does not take inbound from netfirms. I had to transfer to buyer directly. Luckily he was co-operative and the entire process took 10 days. Most registrars sedo has an account with, but not netfirms for sure
What registrar was the domain name at?

It's at namecheap. The instructions I have are to send direct to buyer.

that sucks, I am looking at my last sale, and the steps taken. He went from netfirms to goodaddy, and I guess when he made the transfer request after I sent in the auth code, I received transaction id and security code.
Starnge they dont have an account with namecheap to do a push to their account, maybe things have changed since new 60 day rule with locking whois, hope we figure something out
