GoDaddy Auth Codes

Does GoDaddy generally change the auth code after a domain becomes ready for transfer? I've not got a firm grip on what they do. Some get new codes. But others I'm not sure if they do or not. Probably because I was requesting the Auth Code after the lock has been removed. I was contemplating downloading my entire portfolio with auth codes. But it would seem like a pointless exercise, if GoDaddy change the auth code when the lock is released.

Does anyone actually know what their policy is?

Sorry I am replying 3 months late to this but I, too, would like to know the answer to that question!

I have had problems transferring out and the receiving registrar suggested that I get a new auth code from GD. Chat had no idea what I was asking for. Phone support said it would happen after 24 hours of requesting it - never happened. Had to call back and again they said the same thing. Ended up having to renew the domain name on GD and about 6 months later I got a new auth code and the transfer worked at that time with the new code. WHEN did the code change? No one can tell me.

Seeing as you were the only reply to my post, I guess nobody knows. Maybe @Joe Styler can help?
