Hi everyone,

I'm looking to bump up my knowledge on the subject in a rapid way, and I thought of starting off with a good course. Does such exist? If so, what is recommended by the forum members?

A few things in general I want to learn

1. Appraisals. I would like to be good at appraising a particular domain. I've sold a few out of sheer luck, domains which sold for XXX/XXXX from someone who randomly messaged me for it which I thought was worth next to nothing. I have domains which I feel are worth XXXX/XXXXX but I'm getting no interest in them one bit. I would like to step up my knowledge in this area.

2. Sourcing. I would like to learn some general knowledge on what niches/categories and domains to look out for, what is a good investment, etc. Some tips and suggestions on what to look for, what keywords to avoid, etc.

3. General knowledge. I suppose anything else which would improve my skills as a whole in sourcing and selling domains.

I love the forum, will definitely be reading through a lot of posts, but I was wondering if there's any true courses taught by real people with real knowledge. As you're aware with any course on any topic, 99% of is fluff.

Thanks,
Danny

One thing on niches... Don't try to be broad all around... you will only get hurt.

Find a niche, preferably where you have experience or interest, and exploit that.

Some folks feel comfortable dealing only with brandables, others with liquid type domains. There are also geo domains, tld specialists, and others who specialize strictly in picking up expired/auction domains for SEO purposes/PBNs.

Thanks! I stumbled upon domain sherpa, watched a few interview videos, cool stuff.
