We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

Dynadot used to allow interested parties to contact a domain registrant with a message, e.g. that they were interested in purchasing the domain. But now they are using the same Whois contact form that GoDaddy uses, where the sender can only choose between three reasons for contacting the registrant and not include a message.

@Caleb Tweed Can you tell us why you have implemented this change?

Hey, good question.

We’ve improved our contact form to be more streamlined and secure. The old system was more open, which made it easier for spam and abuse to get through as people could type whatever they wanted. We've had this requested by customers a few times over the years to reduce spam messaging.

It sounds like this is back to normal now, but I'll still have the guys investigate what happened. What area were you unlocking from specifically, or was it just anytime/anywhere on our site you tried to unlock it didn't work?

Anywhere the 'unlock' button appeared. eg. when trying to unlock to sell a domain at Afternic/Sedo, the global unlock button, the transfer unlock, etc.

I'll have someone take a look.
What I did before this happened:
I started my PC. Checked and updated with my Antivirus program, restarted the PC because of an update. Then logged in to my most important sites. No problems with other sites, but the PC seemed to be more slowly than usual.

Now I closed the DD tab and am running a complete Antivirus check.

Hmm yeah FF works fine for me too. Could you try clearing Dynadot out of your cache on FF and let me know what happens?

Well, I could login now without any further preparation.

Cookies and old website data are being deleted with every closing of the FF bowser. I closed browser before the restart of my system. Therefore, this should not have been the cause of the problem. (Incidentally, my virus scan was negative, so positive.)

It's great that you're always available, even though users' concerns are usually based on problems. No playing dead, no dodging, no lies. No distractions or disruptive actions from members close to dd. I wish that could be said of all service providers.

On our mainsite or on our landers? We're actually removing the CF captcha from our landers in favour of less obtrusive security methods this week/next after a few complaints from users so that shouldn't be a problem after that!

Hello Caleb, how about on the next update (small thing here) they add page number selection to the top of the page when on 'manage domains'. Maybe right above the column headers. It would just save a little time from scrolling down to make a page selection at the bottom. Of course leave it at the bottom as well.

Caleb, portfolio of domains "Listed by ... " not showing on domains registered at Dynadot but works very well with domains registered elsewhere e.g. blsck.com is registered with another registrar , but Dynadot domains not showing section " Listed by.." How to enable it? I turned it on but not showing

Hi @Caleb Tweed - any word from the team as to when this might be rectified? I've just deleted and recreated my Preset list again, but the order of results is still different from the order I saved the list.
Took a little bit of a run-around to figure out what was actually causing the issue (when we checked it just so happened that the TLDs we tested on weren't apart of the problem), but our team's located the problem and has fixed it! Sorry this took so long to get around too.
