Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. G-Data (phishing) and Seclookup (malicious) just flagged one of my names that is pointed to Dynadot for sale landers.

Anybody else getting anything similar?

ADD: So has anyone checked their landers...something is causing a security problem?

80% of the names I have pointed to Dynadot are not resolving...anyone else experiencing this or am I the only one on Namepros that use them?

I checked a handful of the names that are using Dynadot's For Sale Lander. All resolved OK for me. They don't seem to result in sales for me but that's another issue.

Thanks for checking.

I reached out to a few friends around the country...it is not happening everywhere but I'm not the only one getting the block. I've checked using all major browsers and did the usual cache purge.

That's good information. Thank you. My test of Dynadot sales landers will likely end soon.

As an fyi, the service provider verified the name is being blocked but did not offer any reasons as to why (like talking to a robot or really bad ai). VirusTotal found no issues with the name. I'm officially stumped.

Looking into it, not sure why they'd come up as malicious or anything, but maybe one got reported or something to an internet provider...will have the team investigate regardless.

I appreciate your efforts. At this point, there is no doubt it is not on my end. ONLY names using the Dynadot for sale lander are having issues. Names pointed to ParkingCrew, Bodis, Namepros, Afternic, etc are normal.

If anyone else is using those landers, I'm curious to see if you are having any problems. Remember to clear your cache so an old 'good' version does not pop up.

I don't think potential buyers will be impressed by this logo (not mine) considering what the domain for sale is:

Hmm yeah that does seem a little off the mark, I'll chat with the engineers about it to see if the system can be more attentive to the whole word rather than just part of it.

Since engagement is/was so low about this, I'll not be spending time sharing the lander issue beyond this. I've gotten acknowledgement there is an issue and techs are working to solve it...the damaged reputation of hundreds of names remains an unresolved issue. Hopefully there will be an easy and quick solution. I'm going to mentally disengage from this until Monday as I've done all I can do...fingers crossed a buyer I've been engaging with is understanding.

This should've been resolved this Saturday morning, please let me know if you're still running into issues!

It's a Registry increase, everyone will have a similar-ish price when it rolls around.

so io hikes it by 6?
or io hikes 4 and dyna adds 2?

We adjust our prices accordingly with the increase if that's what you're asking.

Caleb,

Here is an issue that may seem small, but is actually a big one in reality. Most of my domains are at Dynadot, but I use NamePros landers for all of them. I'd prefer to sell through Dynadot's checkout link, but the problem is that you guys don't allow Wise/bank payouts for amounts under $2,000. Because of that, the domains I sell (and the ones I am currently selling) go through Atom's checkout link instead of Dynadot's.

Atom charges 4.5% versus your 5% (so the difference is minor), but the inability to cash out amounts below $2,000 is a deal-breaker for me. And no - PayPal is not an option for me, and waiting to accumulate 2+ purchases is not a solution either.

If you guys remove the $2000 payout threshold, I'll be happy to start sending you leads.

Thanks!

We actually do allow Payout's under $2000 for Bank Wires! There's just a $20 fee as that's what we're charged when it's below $2k (So we don't get into situations where someone pays out $100 and we lose more than we made on the sale lol).

Stay tuned for Wise Payouts, as that's something we are adding next year!

Are you sure? That's the info from Dynadot's site:

USD: PayPal, Payoneer or BTC/USDT/USDC (min. $100.00); bank wire (min. $2000)

CNY: Alipay, USDT, USDC (min.¥700)

EUR: PayPal (min. €100), bank wire (min. €2000), BTC/USDT/USDC (min. €100.00)

GBP: PayPal (min. £100), bank wire (min. £2000), BTC/USDT/USDC (min. £100.00)

CAD: PayPal (min. C$150), bank wire (min. C$2000), BTC/USDT/USDC (min. C$150)

AUD: PayPal (min. AU$150), bank wire (min. AU$2000)

I don't see any any current bank payout options for less then $2000 USD/Euro...Am I missing something?
