Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Founded in 2002 by a software engineer, our primary focus is engineering and design excellence. Our custom written, state-of-the-art domain and hosting software is stable, fast, and easy to use. From humble beginnings, we have grown steadily and now are home to over 2.6 million domains.

Our goal is to provide our customers with world class registration and hosting services for a reasonable price. Most of our site is fully automated, allowing us to offer some of the lowest prices in the industry. At the same time we strive to provide excellent customer service, and helpful responses to all questions. If anything is not to your satisfaction, feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

We individually respond to every email we receive - no cut and paste responses. Customer service is handled by highly trained customer service representatives that work closely with our software engineers, so you are likely to get an intelligent response to your question.

Great incentive was just introduced at Namesilo that pays customers 20% commission when their expired domains sells at auction. This should become the industry norm.

Can Dynadot implement this too or even beat this? @Dynadot @Caleb Tweed

It's an interesting Idea we've looked into before, but nothing ever came of it. I can let our team know to re-open the discussion on it now that others are doing the same, if I get anything rolling I'll post it here.

Wow! That is quite an incentive to carry names at NameSilo. I'll be thinking about that now (although will give Dyna some time to see if they match)

So, in the last few hours I've had to do the seller (4 digit) log in to make pricing changes. Of course, no matter how active a person might be, the system times out at a pre determined interval.

I had another session time out and about 15 mins later I tried to get back to where I could continue making price changes. The system tells me I've requested too many 'codes' and to try again later.

It is surprising but Dynadot manages to p*ss me off again. Time is both precious and of the essence...this kinda of thing makes me think of Epik.

(on a side note, Caleb and Alex are great reps...someone in the coding end is dropping the ball)

I had this happen, also, and found it helpful to add an Authenticator app as the method for my 2FA.

@Dynadot The last few times I have transferred names in, they have not kept their name servers, but have been automatically switched to using Dynadot Parking name servers.

Hi @Embrand ,

I wasn't asked, but, just in case it helps, did you check the "Apply to transferred domains" setting in your account?

Thx.
Ah, Rick is stirring the pot again, with his many followers. I understand his view, but at the end of the day he didn't have to bid if he didn't want to, and he doesn't have to purchase the domain if he's decided it's not worth that much. There are times when being the underbidder is an advantage - you get a domain you thought you had missed out on (having chosen where you would stop bidding). It goes both ways.

Shameful response.I stand with Rick 💯.

I remember when fraudulent and no paying bidding happened at DC and I was refunded my high bid and allowed to pay my true bid after top bidder was called out and banned on DC .

Dynadot should do same for Rick ,not respond with a statement and expect him to swallow it .

I wont recommend Dynadot to anyone.

Wow...Rick is laying it all out!

I agree...all bids from a shill or non paying bidder/winner should be removed before offering the name to the next highest bidder. Either run an auction that way or cancel the entire thing if the 'winner' does not pay.

Or am I missing something?

They should removed the shill bidder totally from when they started bidding up the auction and let Rick .They want to sound like nothing fraudulent happened. They did not say if they banned the bidder or anything, just that they did not find anything fraudulent.

Dynadot is becoming a joke .Lets see what other statements they come out with .

This is a time to call them out for their actions
