Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Hi @Caleb Tweed
Re: the TLD Preset List. At one time we could save this list in the order that we selected the TLD's. Now, when you edit the list, it has reverted to saving in alphabetical order every time. Any chance you could ask your devs to tweak it so we can save in our custom order again? Thanks
Good to see this issue was fixed, thanks @Caleb Tweed

Urgent Help Needed – Fraudulent Push of 320 Domains (Order ID: 19808427)

Mentioning Scammer
> @Powel and Scammer's Dynadot push ID: powel88

I urgently need your assistance regarding a fraudulent/unpaid domain push that has put my entire investment at risk.

What Happened:

  • I entered into a bulk deal with a NamePros member for 320 domains in my Dynadot account.
  • The buyer promised to send payment in USDT (BEP20).
  • Trusting the buyer, I pushed all 320 domains under Order ID: 19808427.
  • After receiving the domains, the buyer disappeared without ever sending payment.

Why This is Fraud:

  • The push was made under false pretenses.
  • This was not a legitimate sale—no payment was ever received.
  • I am now left with nothing while the scammer controls my 320 domains.

What I’ve Done So Far:

Attachments Provided:

  • Proof of communication with the scammer here on NamePros
  • Copy of the email I sent to all Dynadot departments
  • Dynadot invoice for the order (19808427)

My Request:

I am respectfully asking Dynadot to:
  1. Immediately freeze or reverse this fraudulent push back to my account.
  2. Escalate this case to your Fraud Prevention / Higher Management team.
  3. Treat this as a fraud case, not a normal completed push.
This involves 320 domains, and I cannot simply accept losing them due to a scammer exploiting the trust system.

Note: I have also invited both dynadot and alfa mod team directly to the conversation where scammer scammed me

Please, I need urgent intervention before these domains are transferred out of Dynadot.

Thank you for your immediate attention.

You pushed names before receiving payment? 🤦‍♂️

Hello All!

Firstly thanks Dynadot for great service all these years

Please @Caleb Tweed - @Dynadot-Market - @Dynadot take these in consideration.

1) When seeling at marketplace we always converts sales balance to account credit. I think would be fair
in such cases this transfer to count in amount spent to keep the super bluck plan etc. Has no meaning
to withdraw and then redeposit.

2) We use listing via dynadot to sedo and afternic in order to have better control.
Some notes on this:
a) You do not allow to list at afternic names at 60 days locked period. As afternic replied officially here they handle
sales at this period. Sedo handle also such cases with push (outside MLS).

b) You do not allow to list names as make offer at both marketplaces. It would be very convenient in many cases.

c) You do not allow to list names at sedo for tlds that do not participate at sedo MLS eg .tv. Would be very convenient to can list there with BIN or make offer outside MLS.

I wrote here and not in a support ticket in order investors and forum members here to be able to comment.

Thanks again

Thanks for the link. I didn't bother reading that other thread (didn't realise he created a dedicated thread as well as the post above until now), but I'm not surprised they both got banned (at this stage anyway). When I read the post above there was some very odd stuff going on, like:
- buyer agreeing to buy 320 domains without seeing them
- seller pushing names without receiving payment
- seller posting here about the 'scammer' only like half an hour (from memory) after pushing the domains.
Not sure if the other thread revealed anything interesting, but none of those factors seems like a good way to conduct a transaction...

Anyone else having difficulty transferring into dynadot in the past 4 hours? I am experiencing a strange error. It shows a small box on the page and nothing happens after hitting transfer

Hey! So that's something that we went back n forth on for a while back in the day, though now it's less relevant as we no longer have different prices per tier. If your account should have been SB due to spending from sales and you need to take advantage of the API benefits, please let me know and our team can review your account.

So Afternic allowed listings for names under 60 days if you list directly with them ( think), but their fast transfer system won't let us initiate if the name is under the 60 day lock.
b) You do not allow to list names as make offer at both marketplaces. It would be very convenient in many cases.
I can certainly ask, though I think we don't currently just as it makes the system much more complicated.
c) You do not allow to list names at sedo for tlds that do not participate at sedo MLS eg .tv. Would be very convenient to can list there with BIN or make offer outside MLS.
Unfortunately if we're linking names with Sedo we have to go through MLS so there isn't a way around that.

I have an opinion on the marketplace UI. There is no payout button on the marketplace page; the payout option is only available on the account summary page. Also, there is no payout setting in the marketplace navigation menu. Please consider if there’s anything the team can do here.

Thank you so much Caleb for detailed reply!

It is not the case for current account as it is in mid 5 digits spent, just planning another account for my new company, anyway i think what i proposed is very fair

So Afternic allowed listings for names under 60 days if you list directly with them ( think), but their fast transfer system won't let us initiate if the name is under the 60 day lock.

It is much much more ergonomic to list and put pricing via dynadot than in Afternic itself and have better control of everything . Fast transfer system is only for 5-6 TLDs there so it is not the case. BIN without fast transfer is very ok, with good exposure and strangely instant payouts while fast transfer is slow pay, actually i never activate fast transfer, nothing to gain from it.

I can certainly ask, though I think we don't currently just as it makes the system much more complicated.

Much more complicated to just be allowed to leave price empty? Cmon it is some minutes programming case

Unfortunately if we're linking names with Sedo we have to go through MLS so there isn't a way around that.

Appreciate the feedback!

Understood their API is only for MLS

Thanks again Caleb

That could be worth adding to flesh out that section more, I'll see what the design team thinks.

The prices in this scrolling ad on your website are ridiculously hard to read. To be honest, it's almost like they don't want us to know what the price is. If your devs want these numbers to be somewhat legible they should add a comma after the thousands. If they argue that there is no room then they could lose the cents.

Commas should be easy to add, do you think adding K to denote thousand might make it look better for visual clarity or do you think it might be confusing?

Personally, I prefer $200,000 rather than $200k. To me, there can be no confusion about the former, whereas there can be with the latter.

ADD: Issue resolved...thanks @Garet

Don't know if this has been addressed above or not. (please let me know message # if so)

@Caleb Tweed, is there anyway we can get the option to allow more than 50 names per page in the 'Manage Domains'? I've discovered that if a group of names is selected off of page 1 and then I move to page 2, all the checks/selections on page 1 disappear.

It would be nice if we could choose the number of names to be displayed on page 1 (and subsequent pages).

I just did this minutes ago, Mister Funsky. I had 50 domains displayed per page and changed it to 500.

From Manage Domains, click on the Settings button in the upper right and you'll see a "Number of domains displayed per page" drop down with options ranging from 50 to 5000.

Hope that helps/answers the question.
