Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Cannot batch set sales page

When setting a domain to for sale landing page you will be asked to enter a price.

If you choose multiple domains and set up a sales page, you will need to set the price, but the different prices set for different domains will be modified to the same price

If you batch set sales page, you must set the price in bulk it will change the price for every selected domain.

so if batch set sales page. seller need to set them up seperately.

I don't need change price. only need set some domain use dynadot sale page
I have also noticed that Edward, the customer service representative of Dynadot, has a very negative work attitude. I have encountered him many times, and if you give him feedback on website functionality bugs, he will only tell you that the current website functionality can only be like this (of course, I know that your answer is just repeating the website functionality that users already know), but he will not consider further feedback and improvement with technical personnel. Just like a robot.

Hi,

Are the names you're working with already set with a price or are you setting a price as well as a for sale lander at the same time? If the names are already listed, You can set a sales page in bulk without affecting the price! But yeah the bulk sell option will affect all names selected.

If you have a large list of names you're looking to list all at once, I'd recommend bulk uploading an XLSX to the area called 'My Marketplace listings' here: https://www.dynadot.com/account/marketplace/my_marketplace/
Then select "Sell domain" and upload your list with your specifications there (you can also include if you'd like them on landers/have installments from that upload as well).

Sorry you had a negative experience with our CS support, but let me see if we can change it so you can bulk add names with different prices and set the landers at once from the user cp.

Hi @Caleb Tweed
Re: the TLD Preset List. At one time we could save this list in the order that we selected the TLD's. Now, when you edit the list, it has reverted to saving in alphabetical order every time. Any chance you could ask your devs to tweak it so we can save in our custom order again? Thanks

I first brought up the issue with the scroll bar size 2 years ago, and revisited it again in Feb this year.
For some reason your devs have the scroll bars on the Dynadot site set to super duper tiny. It's not a browser setting - it's unique to the Dynadot site. When I view my portfolio (because it's a very long page) the scroll bar ends up being literally just a dot that I can barely grab with my mouse pointer (and I frequently miss it). It's a real annoyance. To be clear, this happens on Chrome and Edge, but not Firefox. Please, please could you ask them to set the scroll bar size to default rather than whatever custom setting they are using?...

I've never seen any change to the size. It makes certain parts of your website very difficult to use. Have your devs ever provided any feedback about this?

So it is uniform across all the browsers we tested now, though to be honest they thought the thick slider looked uglier. They were waiting to see if we'd received anymore requests to change it since then but I don't think we have, but let me re-check on it. Can I ask, are you on a PC or a mac?

The search function on the app has never worked for me (have mentioned it before). The search works the first time from the home page but then the only way to activate a new search from those results is to use the magnifying glass key on the keyboard.

I don't think we made a specific change for this, that might be a bug. I'll have them check into it and fix.

Android yeah. I'm not sure how to better explain it. When I get chance I'll DM with a plethora of pictures and circles of needed 😂.

Hi @Caleb Tweed

I have a large number of domain names listed for sale and have already set prices.

In fact, set a sales page in bulk will affecting the price. I batch set the sales page, the system will force me to set a price that will cover all domain's previously set prices. you can test.

When setting up domains in bulk using Dynadot's domain sales page DNS, a price will be forced to be filled in. If the price is not filled in, it cannot be saved

Your customer service also said that they can only set it up one by one, but they know that this is a problem, but they cannot actively help users create tickets to solve the problem. This is negative and not conducive to the development of the website

Interestingly, it is not uniform for me. The sizes on Chrome and Edge are the same, but it's still large on Firefox. However I don't use Firefox as my browser. I agree that the size might not be as visually attractive on firefox, but at least it is easy to grab. What I don't understand is why you guys are forcing the scroll bars to be a lot smaller than default. Here's another tab in the same browser (Porkbun, for reference, but every other tab in that browser has the same width for the scrollbar):

The default size looks and functions fine for me.

Meanwhile, here is the scrollbar I have to try and grab on Dynadot to Manage my domains:

Or in the bulk domain search:

Definitely thicker scrollbars. Especially helpful for my elderly eyes! :-P Added a screenshot of what mine looks like on Chrome (Windows7) desktop. 27 inch monitor and for me to even get a glimpse of it I have to take the Chrome windows out of maximized mode. (the black is my desktop color so you can see the chome window thickness is about as thick as the scroll bar).

Its VERY difficult and frustrating to grab that scroll bar.

Thanks Caleb!

Roger, I've since gotten a few more emails/DMs since posting that so I think the consensus is that it's too small lol. I'll make sure the team can size it up!

Hmm I wonder if we're talking about the same area. I'm going to DM you a quick screen video I took of the settings I'm working with, as I'm able to bulk select three names for sale with different prices, set them to the For Sale Lander in bulk and the individual prices are retained.

I'd love for these auctions to take off. I can't remember a good/popular auction platform for domainers since probably Flippa. Namejet was also OK I guess.

There seems to be a number of issues with how this page displays. Firstly the default is to display 25 domains, however the page arrows down the bottom don't work. So, I just chose to display 1,000 names and this lets me see them all. But then none of the column sorting works:

Also rather a shame that the inventory is 90% .io.

@Dynadot Is there a glitch in your system? I received 7 different emails about expiring domain names. Please check out the dates in the screenshot. This type of mishap concerns me because if your Dynadot system reacts to that false 30 day expiration date then there is a real concern it could possibly push my domain names to a unwarranted deletion and/or a redemption period without my knowledge 😐.
