I had this happen a couple days ago when trying to log into Dynadot. I switched browsers and was able to log in.

****UPDATE -- SEARCH IS NOW WORKING PROPERLY AGAIN****

A Dynadot sign-in problem with Chrome (Mac at least) has returned.
It was broken a few days ago, reported, was working again yesterday, but broken again now. Even though using the main (username and pw) login page, it gives an error related to using API even though not an API request. Note if you use Chrome Incognito mode you can sign in as normal. I have restarted machine and also cleared everything from past 24 hrs.

Here is the screen capture:

I am able to sign in from Safari and Opera on same machine with same credentials without problem.

However there is also a second unrelated problem in all browsers I have tried. In Manage Domains the Search is broken. It does not work. It was working at least only a day or two ago. Perhaps just hours ago. It has had this problem from time to time in the past (like years ago, I think). Whether you press the search icon or return it does nothing. I have tried it from all three browsers, in Chrome Incognito mode.

This shows where it occurs. Any browser, any term, the magnifying glass does not work, nor return. This was totally fine every day until this morning:

Both of these are important to at least some users. Without search it is challenging to manage domain names in the account.

Their link to Amazon's .now & .bot registry is also down. I wonder if all these issues are related

Can confirm I'm experiencing this too.

I tried telling their support via chat but it's just a bot and the option to chat with a human is disabled. Honestly surprising this issue has lasted all day.

I did report both problems to support at Dynadot before posting here, and after going through bot did chat with real person. I got a support id number but no update yet. Both problems persist for me.

UPDATE:

Search is now working properly again at Dynadot. Thank you for the rapid fix.

For me. Mac Chrome still gives error on login unless you use Incognito mode. It works fine on other browsers.

so what the story on new dyna login? chrome doesnt detect stored password like before

good news.. I dont have to watch focking cloudflare circle spin for 1minute each time.. is this shit gone for good???? I get high blood pressure seeing cloudflare anywhere.. thank God at least bodis inquiry I use dont have it

here is ok too..

ps dyna stay logged in timers need fix.

Hey Sorry I missed this, was out yesterday for the (Canadian) holiday.

Apologies for the issues with our search, team has corrected this and it sounds like they've found the bug that caused it and implemented a permanent fix for this. If it pops up again please don't hesitate to let me know!

After moving in the past few months, at least all of my business-related domains to Dynadot and Porkbun (for ccTLDs), I am more than happy to have shifted away from one registrar to you.

I have one observation, although I'm not sure if it's already been mentioned in the thread.
It's related to your domain auction platform:

1) Unfortunately, it doesn't get much attention, even though it's really good. Are there plans to promote your Auctions more?
Its good to see that at least 4L com Domains are promoted on shortnames;. I might be wrong, but there could be more traffic for user auctions. It's different for expired domains (from my point of view).

2) Is there probably a corralation between

&
Code:
dotDB TLD Count
and the Domain Appraisal? Because there is a huge spike in Domain Appraisal values based on those two parameters.

Other than that, im very happy to be your customer - keep going on.

UPDATE:
Everything is working fine for me with Dynadot login now.
I found all Site Settings for Dynadot in Chrome Security, deleted everything, restarted, and it works as normal.

Is there anyone else who uses an M1 Mac and the current Google Chrome that is having login problems at Dyndaot (give 400 error screen capture posted above). Their service say that I am the only one to report it.

It seems strange. I have no problem logging in via Incognito Chrome, or with Safari, Opera and Brave, all of which I have tried.

I have restarted various times, and a new version of Chrome was installed last night but problem persists. I have no Chrome extensions. I have no problem with login at any site except Dynadot.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone has issues.

I have an M1 Pro and I normally use it to access Dynadot...however, when I do that I am usually connected to a remote desktop running Linux.

I figured I'd test it out by logging into Dynadot directly via Chrome on the M1 Pro to see what would happen. Since there was no past history of my ever visiting Dynadot via Chome on the M1 (meaning no cached cookies), this was not an apples-to-apples test.

Also, you mentioned using the current version of Chrome...I knew mine needed updating--I was at Version 138.0.7204.184 (Official Build) (arm64)--but I thought I'd try to access Dynadot before and after the upgrade to the latest version to see if that made any difference.

To make a short story even shorter, I was able to log in with no issues using the older version of Chrome (I didn't check doing so via incognito). I signed out, exited Chrome and then updated to the most recent version as of this message--Version 139.0.7258.67 (Official Build) (arm64).

I opened Chrome again, went to Dynadot and logged in without incident (again, not doing so via incognito). This time, there may have been cookies stored from the single previous session.

Perhaps your issue was cookie-related. Nonetheless, glad you got it resolved. I'm moving back to the remote Linux desktop now.

DYNADOT, YOU MUST REMOVE "CONTACT DYNADOT" LINK ON LANDING PAGES, and you deserve all type of
hate reponses if you don't (but strangely not many people complain about it; I'm trying to wake them all up).

ALMOST ALL MY DROPS ARE TAKEN before drop, but I usually don't receive any offers, and obviously most have 4 figure potential, but for some reason, BUYERS SEEM TO DISCUSS MY DOMAIN WITH ANOTHER ENTITY, guess what: probably Dynadot. Dynadot tries to collect leads, and prevent sales. Towards expiration, domain traffic steangely drops significantly. There is no explanation for it.. because domains don't expire gradually, they expire instantly "without notice" to someone who doesn't check whois.

QUESTIONS TO DYANDOT
1. what purpose does that link serve?
2. in the past there was no such link and everything was ok, why need it this time?
3. why is it placed at the most visible place, and load before description does.
4. can't you create a system which doesn't require any discussion of my domain between a potential buyer and Dynadot, to make a sale possible. For example, what can go wrong if the buyer clicks BUY, and NOT CONTACT YOU?
5. Why do you hide contents, and even the existence of such a message (because we would renew the domain,
and block your SWEET SCAM!).
6. I suggest that you increase commission on my sales from 10 percent to 20 percent;; which would mean
doubling your profit, ..if you remove that link. WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT SUCH A SWEET DEAL. Because
YOU ARE NOT HONEST. YOU WANT 100 PERCENT OR MORE, NOT 10 or 20 PERCENT.
7. Why not type your email support at dynadot do com there and instead use a link : ANSWER , because
that link is TRACKED: it contains domain info, and this is all that matters to you. You are not willing to and don't really provide customer service most of the time, when such a message is received. You don't have such humanpower for potential 10 percent commission, but YOU CAN EASILY IGNORE ALL CONTACT MESSAGES,
for 100 PERCENT PROFIT.
8. WHY DOES SUCH A LINK AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF CLICKING ON SUCH A LINK (with one click),
APPEARS NOWHERE ON DYNADOT, but only on landing pages it exists? Because there is sweet cash there.
HARD EARNED MONEY BELONGING DOMAIN OWNER IS SITTING ON THE TABLE AND CAN BE LEGALLY STOLEN
BY DYNADOT, AND NOONE WILL NOTICE ANYTHING.
9. WHY NOT ADD A FAQ LINK SOMEWHERE, and insist that buyers contact you privately !!!!!!

If you ask a terrorist, why you do terror, do you expect a reasonable answer? No ...DYNADOT WON'T BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY OF THESE, and INSTEAD BLAME ME FOR BEING RUDE, ..JUST LIKE ONE ONE MY PREVIOUS ENEMIES, who was extremely jealous (call him a g.yh.le)..

But if dynadot removes that link, they deserve applaude, and I will take back all my complaints, although it costed me a lot already, both in money and in time.

Some people will turn a blind eye to all that you have written but I used to like dynadot and was moving my names from shady GD but now I am moving away from dynadot from some of the things I am beginning to notice as they are starting to act like shady GD with some of their recent changes which I vented about months ago.I am glad someone else is speaking out .

I never got a clear response when I spoke out but I already saw what direction they were heading,it is only a matter of time before others speak up .

cause renew time only 10 day after expiry for it.. and u never know it...

I didnt cry cause I had no offers in like 3yrs... but now I cry cause bitcoin getting hotter in time and bitcoin,gdn just sold 3.5k on sedo

now my name is grabbed by gdn and sitting there as reserved for nobody to get
