Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

If you guys hate the way Dynadot structure their landers, why on earth do you use them? It's simple - go and use Namepros landers or DomainEasy landers. You're clearly very unhappy with DD, so if your requirements aren't aligned, then go and use landers you're happy with. There are dozens of options these days.

man... I went back to bodis in a flash when I saw that stupid cloudflare circle spin for 1 miute

no sane buyer will wait on that..

as bad and useless as bodis is on parking.. a direct lander with no ads still rocks.. takes buyer 5 secs to email me... I get his email and can make checkout lnk anywhere at 5%... no account creation like dyna etc.. I've tried tens landers over yrs.. always go back to bodis... plus u get best visit stats on earth hahahha

On a more general note, the thing I've been mentioning for many months - nothing has been done regarding the "bulk" action. If you change the price, change the Buy Now/Make Offer option, or pretty much anything else in bulk, it erases all the texts. I think the huge problem with Dynadot landers is that you guys are going nowhere in terms of bulk adjustments. Absolutely everything has to be done inside one domain only, not across the whole list. And my portfolio is only few hundred names, nothing - but I am struggling, spending way too much time adjusting pages one by one.

This has been fixed, description is no longer changed with bulk updates!

The problem with Bodis is ad blockers block the page. When I go to your example, I just see a blank black screen.

The Afternic sales pages with ads get blocked too, but not any of the pages that don't run ads.

I'm running the uBlock Origin extension. On just the Chrome webstore, it shows 24 million users.

SO WHAT WILL DYNADOT DO ABOUT FOR-SALE-LANDING-PAGES WHICH have the evil "NEED HELP" area at the most visible place just under the price, as if it is really needed, and has any function beyond stealing leads, and SCAMMING DOMAIN OWNERS mercilessly.
EVEN THEIR HOMEPAGE DOESN'T HAVE SUCH A need-help?-contact-us-then (HOW NICE THEY REALLY ARE !!!! ) links at the most visible places. There is a tiny "support" link at the top.

Buyers don't/should not need any help just before buying a domain. If they need help, sellers can provide that help. If Dynadot is collecting such messages, there is only one reason to do it: SCAM SCAM SCAM.

TERRROR is a better word, because a lot more than just money , or just time, or just domains being stolen this way.

I can't fight against all scammy marketplaces one by one just by myself, if ALL OTHER DOMAIN OWNERS ENJOY BEING SCAMMED without notice, in an unprovable way.

I BET I'M BEING SCAMMED 1,000+ USD every day in a silent way, just because of those terrrror links.

I'm 100 percent right about it.

We saw what Epik did with contact messages, but Epik was much nicer, and respectful. They allowed us to see those messages, and buyer's IP,name, email etc. Dynadot doesn't do fraction of it, in the name of "respecting privacy". WHAT PRIVACY, buyers are contacting us (they think), and they give their info to us (they think), and you STEAL ALL THAT DATA which is THE ONLY THING that matters in domain selling, and we are left with low risk of selling, not knowing if there is a buyer, selling with low prices, and/or renewing all domains because Dynadot made deals with some of them and we don't know which one is about to sell for 5 figures.

If this is not stopped , I will do all what I can do to harm Dynadot using all my domains, and expose this terror.

I said here years ago, that Godaddy's intention when buying Dan was : Killing DAN. And years later, they announced it officially. Kill the competition, and make your landers more evil: prevent direct purchases, and require that buyers contact Godaddy instead, even if there is a nonnegotiable fixed price. This way they would collect leads, prevent sales, and grab domains when expire (or win in auction/use dropcatch).

I suspect, maybe Dynadot was bought by Godaddy already, and this is why Dynadot doesn't try to be reasonable even a little bit. They just prefer that I stop talking about it, but how can I , if they steal my time and money, and domains, and hard work everyday.

1. Dynadot is my main registrar - the vast majority of my domains are with them, and as a registrar, they’re good.
2. Execution after a sale is solid. At least till now I’ve never had major issues, and their 10% commission fee is pretty good.
What’s missing, in my view, is the strong link in between 1. and 2.) - an attractive lander with better bulk functionality in the CMS. I’m not unhappy with Dynadot overall; I’m not satisfied with the progress they've made on their lander in the past year, like at all.

Also, we are discussing ideas here - which is exactly what this thread is for, and it was created by Dynadot itself. No one starts a new thread type of “DYNADOT IS BAAAD FOR YOUUUU!!”. So, it's constructive and focused on Dynadot - there are no attention seekers here.

But one thing is certain: if Dynadot continues to progress very slow on landers and funcionality (which has been the case so far, IMO), and someone else moves much faster, I wouldn’t hesitate to switch landers, that's for sure.

@Dynadot , WHEN WILL YOU REMOVE ""NEED HELP" part? It is extreme harrassment, instult to everyone's intelligence, in addition to being an outright scam. You are making 1000 USD profit everyday, when my expired domains are "REMOVED" one-by-one, because there is a buyer and ONLY YOU KNOW that there is a buyer, ALSO you have all their contact info (WHERE IS BUYER'S PRIVACY IF YOU HAVE THAT INFO !!!!!!).

instead of removing half of my expired domains everyday, tell me that there is a buyer BEFORE GRACE PERIOD ENDS. Ok, you don;t have to do it, BUT DON'T STEAL MY CUSTOMERS FIRST, AND DOMAINS NEXT, and my time-money-effort-.. along the way. This is terror. If someone is stealing my time, or my money, or my effort, it is terror. You are doing all of them at once with innocent-nice sounding "NEED HELP-contact-us-then" area.

I SUSPECT namepros prevents all others from seeing my messages, otherwise why don't I receive any plus or minus. So maybe Godaddy bought both Dynadot and Namepros already. There is no way to escape: get scammed for sure.

UPDATE:
In case anyone does not follow later posts, what happens is that Dynadot set you up with account credit in the currency of the sale proceeds. You do still get the 2% bonus if you use it for account credit. So now I have two account balances, one in USD and one in EUR. I presume I can change my currency preference when I go to register or renew/transfer something, and use the currency I prefer for that transaction. It is something to think about when you get an offer in a different currency from your own. I had this name priced in USD but the offer came in in EUR and we negotiated in EUR.

I had a recent small sale at Dynadot where the final price was in Euros so I was paid in that.
Can someone tell me if I take the proceeds as Account Credit, does it get converted to USD, or do i end up with a Euro account credit and a separate USD account credit that I currently have?

PS The Google AI overview seems to tell me that it will indeed be converted to USD, but It tends to mislead me a lot so I would trust an answer from a person here far more!

good question, hope someone can clear this up for Mr. Bob and I, ty. I would think you get the extra percentage in account credit balance plus it translates to usd. ty @Dynadot

I would assume it converts to USD, though that's only an assumption.

So it actually does not get converted to USD when it gets paid out/becomes account credit, so it would operate as it's own Euro balance. Buy it now domains we're able to convert the listed price to their currency so you're always getting exactly what you listed it for, but for negotiations we payout in the currency offered so there's no issue with currency fluctuations during the negotation.

If you'd like it as USD balance, please DM me and I'll see if I can get it converted to an equivalent USD amount for you!
