Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

This doesn't make sense to me. When I'm bidding on expired auctions and I view my list on my Dashboard, the Bid column doesn't display the current bid. E.g. the Bid column for this domain shows $102 and the Proxy Bid column shows $102.00. However the current bid for this domain is $575. Surely the Bid column should show the current bid of $575 as it does on the auction page?...

Hi @Caleb Tweed ,
I'm dredging up this post from last year. Nothing has changed with this. Any chance your devs might look at it sometime?

Dynadot landers are intermittent for me...also difficulty signing in...anyone else having issues?

ADD: things are slowly starting to resolve and function...about 12 mins have elapsed since posting above.

I've only had issues signing in once (maybe a month ago), which resolved within half an hour or so, however I do find the cloudflare verification can be extremely slow sometimes, which is rather frustrating. To try and combat that I have extended the Sign-in duration to the max of 3 days as I was just finding it way too annoying.

We actually did change this recently on the "My Auction Bids" Section! It now shows both "Current Bid" Meaning the current high auction bid , and next to it is "My Bid" showing your current highest bid. Let me know if you're not seeing that active yet.

Starting next month, we'll finally be launching Premium User Auctions!

For just a 15% commission, we'll do all the heavy lifting marketing and streamlining the sale for you.

Rather than a reserve price, the auctions will work off a high MIN bid price that both the seller and Dynadot agree to.

Please submit your valuable domains here, and our team will let you know if you qualify!

https://www.dynadot.com/market/premium-user-auction

We'll be running these once a month, so if you miss out on this one there will be plenty of opportunity to list your names again!

Hi Caleb,
I'm seeing exactly what I saw last year. There is a Bid column and a Proxy Bid column. Proxy Bid shows my highest bid (as expected). But the Bid column stops once it reaches my Proxy Bid. It does NOT show the current highest bid. Here's a classic example:

But I click on the actual auction page and I see this:

And I have Lost Auctions and I always wonder why I lost them becasue my bid is the same as the current high bid, but obviously someone outbid me but it doesn't show that in the My Auctions section:

@Caleb Tweed I think the new landers are looking really good now. But there is still the outstanding issue with longer domain names not adjusting to small screens. It would be great if you could fix this.

I do love that there are many language options. As I understand it, Dynadot is especially strong in Asia with domain brokers in China?

@Caleb Tweed, when can we expect for traffic stats to be consistently displayed again? Even after making changes to that feature and coming back later to restore, the graph does not appear on many of my names.

One of the reason I started using your lander is for this data to be displayed...I hope another lander move isn't in my near future...don't have the time right now.

That's very odd, it looks like you're actually just missing the "Current Bid" column as the 2 showing there are the "my Bid" and "Proxy Bid" columns. It might just be showing an older version of the site based on that as I can see the actual bid price no problem (attached are the same domains). Could you try refreshing your cache and going to it again please? Also, what browser are you accessing it from?

We're trying to find a solution for that at the moment but are having a hard time finding one that everyone will like. It is being looked into though!

Glad you like it! We have customers all over the world so we want to make it as accessible as possible (and yes we do have a large customer base in China as well)

Let me re-check into that

Oh sorry I had the reply typed but forgot to send lol (ADHD brain kicking in overdrive).

So it has to do with the Cloudflare verification for when a single IP views it too many times. We're looking at a solution around it at the moment, but any new visitors should see the traffic stats fine!

Hi Caleb,
Using Chrome. I cleared the cache and this has changed nothing.
I also tried in Firefox (having never used it to access Dynadot before) and it does not display the Current Bid column either???
Rather strange...

Are you sure this update is live to all users?... I also tried signing in on my phone (using the Cell provider which is a totally different internet provider to my WiFi, thus no possibility of local caching issues). Result is the same - no 'Current Bid' column.

Why is the "Make Offer" price visible immediately to the customer? I'd really prefer that they don't see the minimum upfront and only find out when they are sending the request (or at least make the seller to choose between the two).

On a more general note, the thing I've been mentioning for many months - nothing has been done regarding the "bulk" action. If you change the price, change the Buy Now/Make Offer option, or pretty much anything else in bulk, it erases all the texts. I think the huge problem with Dynadot landers is that you guys are going nowhere in terms of bulk adjustments. Absolutely everything has to be done inside one domain only, not across the whole list. And my portfolio is only few hundred names, nothing - but I am struggling, spending way too much time adjusting pages one by one.
