Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Just on the Hit Count/Whois Stats on the Manage Domains page?
Just got back in...played marathon golf this afternoon. ⛳🏌️‍♂️

I was referring to the landing page...it all seems to be working now.

OMG...I hope the new landers are a test!

I DO NOT like the way they look or are arranged. He/She/They should have taken a page from the NamePros lander handbook...allow us to toggle items on/off or allow items to be moved.

WHY did _______________ (fill in blank with person that decided this was a good change) not come here and ask what we, Dynadot customers, would want?!?!?!

Let's not overlook the fact the new landers are an awful lot like Godaddy/Dan/Afternic/Uniregistry landers...is a buyout on the horizon?

ADD: what is up with this? "This domain is available sale!" I offer my services as a proofreader in exchange for a reasonable account credit.

@Caleb Tweed Hit count page is empty when selected from Action and it doesnt even show in the edit domains page. Just "settings, Contacts, Whois stats, other Tlds" Hit count is missing (using Dynadot lander) and the whole interface is 10x slow compared to yesterday. knew something was wrong but lets make it right. (y)
Hit Counter is restored as of last night! Let me know if you see otherwise/it happen again.

Not a test, they're the new landers :)

We're adding some more toggles in a few weeks to add/remove certain items. Were there any specific ones you wanted to turn off

Nope!

Whoops, I'll get that corrected.

I appreciate your response and answers.

It is nice having the Dynadot landers as an option...it is just frustrating to have made a decision to move more names over because I liked the layout and then it changes. Because each name parked with you has to be addressed/adjusted individually, a large block of time has been invested.

Later on I will make a list of requests/suggestions and post it...hopefully the powers that be will take them (and any others fellow domainers might offer) into consideration.

ADD: the first thing I would like to see is allowing all names to be default themed to 'colorful'

It would be nice to go back (or give us the ability to toggle) to not showing the payment number. It is just too much clutter on the lander and someone might get confused with all the numbers. Since I'm on that subject, the last two sales I made went thru other processors because of the required 15% deposit. It should be up to the seller if they want/need that extra kick up front (possible toggle feature?).

Accepted payment methods. Why have some but not all listed...you have the space to put them all there...why have an 'arrow' that drives them off the lander page to Dynadot (...nothing up my sleeve--apologies, that is a vague Rocky and Bullwinkle reference).

'Fast/Easy - Top Tier - 24/7'. This should not be directly under the domain and above the 'pitch'. It should be under the pitch or under the 'Need Help' section. There is x amount of time someone might devote to looking at the page and if I've taken the energy to craft a pitch, I want them to get right to it.

Speaking of the domain name, it is somewhat lost in all the Dynadot, Trust Pilot, Get This Domain Now. What was so good about the other lander is that the name figured center and prominent. I mean the "Buy Now" button is larger than an average domain being displayed would be. (however, this would be good if the name one is selling happens to be 'BuyNow.com')

Just spitballing here...wanted to get this into the grinder before the end of the day.

New lander looks good. Is the nameserver still a requirement to keep listing active?

You can point the NS away from the lander and the domain will still be listed on our marketplace! (Just won't point to the lander obv)

Thanks @Caleb Tweed for the new landers.
I didnt know my rep is here. Glad to see you here.
Will you stop taking feed from afternic if we list the same domains for sale in the Dynadot marketplace?
Hope you understand my question.

The new design is very nice, just make sure the designer tests it on large screens as well.

Opera Snapshot_2025-05-23_202311_www.dynadot.com.png

There should be a max-width constraint (like 1200–1400px) for the content area below the logo to maintain readability.

I agree that the new landers look good, but...

  • Just as with large screens, there is also a problem with the text size on mobile devices. My longer domain names run off the screen to the right. Especially if I click "View Uppercase".
  • "This domain is available sale!" Already mentioned by others, but shouldn't the most important sentence on the lander be correct?
  • It is not possible to adjust the number of months if you choose a payment plan...
  • When I click the button "Live Chat" (not the green chat icon), it keeps saying "Please refresh the page" no matter how many times I refresh the page.
  • What does "Verified Domain" mean? Maybe buyers would like to know as well.
I really think such a large registrar should have tested this lander better before releasing it.

I'd like to know this answer too

However, I'd also like to know: Since you're pulling in Afternic/Sedo listings anyway if our name is listed for sale on AN/Sedo do you always show that pricing if searched via reg path? If yes, then is there any benefit to also listing the same domain on Dyna's marketplace (without pointing NS to your lander?)

Hey Swetha,

That's correct! If the domain is listed on Dyandot, that will trump any existing listing from Afternic or Sedo on our marketplace!

Appreciate your thoughts! should have the poor english fixed tonight, (thought it would be fixed last week but it got missed in a few other edits).

Could you DM me the domain you're working on that you're not able to choose the months? Seems to be fine on the ones I've tested.

Verified domains refers to domains listed and registered at Dynadot! Any "non-verified" domains would be ones listed using our open marketplace at other registrars (as those domain purchases can sometimes fall through due to the owner who listed it not owning anymore or something similar). A verified domain ensures the domain purchase will go through 100%!

@Caleb Tweed - Payment by crypto is a strong differentiator for you vs Afternic.

I wonder why payment by crypto is hidden on this landing page.

I think those methods are just our default methods on our site, but I've actually forwarded this request already to our techs (had some other customers mention this as well), should be right up there soon enough!

Dynadot, Atom and NPs are smashing it at the moment in terms of innovation, great CS and general domainer positivity (in my experience).

GoDaddy and Afternic should be taking note.

I think the new landers are a complete disaster. It’s just some basic template redesign, but no actual ''news'' has been introduced - except for the live chat. Maybe I don’t know the whole story and more features are coming. If so, I’ll gladly take my words back. But so far:

1. Fonts still cannot be edited, and there are no pictures, backgrounds, or links that can be inserted.
2. ''Easy Secure Transfers / Top Tier / 24/7 Service'' info - who the heck needs this super-important info right below the name?
3. The page doesn’t even look attractive (which is subjective, of course), but I personally don’t find it appealing or worth exploring from a client’s perspective.
4. Still no CamelCase or better visibility on ''more'' names (''More from this seller'' section)
5. Chat says some like ''you can't chat with bot at this moment'', then redirects to the agent (which is OK, but better to be able to chat directly with the owner). When chat with an agent - you don't know who, when and for what reason used this form.
6. No SEO imprevements

I think the whole designer team (if there is more than one person doing part-time, working on his diploma) should be fired like yesterday.
