Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Founded in 2002 by a software engineer, our primary focus is engineering and design excellence. Our custom written, state-of-the-art domain and hosting software is stable, fast, and easy to use. From humble beginnings, we have grown steadily and now are home to over 2.6 million domains.

Our goal is to provide our customers with world class registration and hosting services for a reasonable price. Most of our site is fully automated, allowing us to offer some of the lowest prices in the industry. At the same time we strive to provide excellent customer service, and helpful responses to all questions. If anything is not to your satisfaction, feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

We individually respond to every email we receive - no cut and paste responses. Customer service is handled by highly trained customer service representatives that work closely with our software engineers, so you are likely to get an intelligent response to your question.

How about you visit dynadot.com or tldes.com to check prices instead of turning this topic into an instant messenger application?!

We're all skeptical about new TLDs like dot .lol.

But today, DD offers them for $1 for the first year.

I treated myself to the fun on April Fools Day and got 13 domains. It's the equivalent of two beers at the pub.

Hey NP, Just a quick heads up that I will not be responsive for the next month as I am going on paternity leave. In the meantime, please tag @Dynadot for any questions/concerns as my colleague Alex will be handling that account for the month. I will be back on in May.

Also, $6.99 Regs (APRILCOM25) and $10.49 Transfers (LOVECOM25) have been extended for the month!

Just so I'm understanding correctly, would you want it to show how many of the domains SLDs you have registered in your account or are registered in general? like if you have caleb.uk it would show that caleb.co.uk is registered in your account (or is regged at all)?

Do you just want the info for seeing what's available of the same extension (but different SLD) or is it just for bookkeeping's sake? If I'm way off let me know.

Data would be across all TLD's, not related to account.

For example DotDB shows 169 registered TLD's for caleb.tld: https://dotdb.com/search?keyword=caleb&position=any

Would like that data on the dashboard so I can sort my domains.

The data is actually already in your expiring auctions.

I think maybe there was some confusion in that your first post referenced SLD's while this one references TLD's (which is what I'm pretty sure you meant all along).

Anyone else notice Dynadot has been intermittent all day...especially in the last 30 mins?

ADD: as of 8 PM EST it seems to be stable...looks like some changes to the site have been made

So Dynadot decides to delete the a dozen .co domain registrations from the account without notice because they had a miscommunication with the registry.

If the problem is caused by their own system, they have to compensate without causing any harm to the customer.

I would not expect this type of approach from @Dynadot.

Any update on this Dynadot issue?

Alex from the @Dynadot team reached out to me here on NamePros earlier today, requesting my Dynadot ID. I’ve already shared it with him.

Let’s wait for his response.

@Dynadot,I noticed that when a name newly expires ,the whois is switched to dynadot.

I haven't looked at your TOS for this, even Godaddy and other registrar's, leaves the whois to still show registrant information, should a lead wants to contact ,because we know they are always lurking to see if a name will be dropped but I know some investors like me intentionally allow some names to expire and then renew as a sales tactics.

Why do you switch off the registrant information and display yours? What happens to the leads that comes in ?
This is not an investor friendly move by Dynadot .

Godaddy may be bad in some ways but they are better allowing registrant information to still display on whois unlike Dynadot .

What are you going to do about this ?
